Compaq Presario C500T Review

The total price was $400 for the notebook plus $35 (after rebate) for the 1GB stick of Crucial Memory. And Californian Tax

Pretty basic notebook for a nicly non-basic price ; Nice features for a budget notebook: wireless button, volume buttons, glossy sharp screen, brand name speakers ; The screen looks very nice, compared to the LCD monitors I have at home

Should have came with more than 512MB RAM ; MS Office 2007 was the ultimate annoying bloatware ; Screen Ripple ; Viewing angle inferior in my opinion

I would like to thank Compaq for placing the "Ctrl" key where it should be placed -- in the bottom left hand corner. The keyboard feels thin, it flexes everywhere, but mostly in the middle. However, I don't know what the big deal about keyboard flexing...

Hewett-Packard Compaq Presario V3832TU (FE061PA)

The Compaq Presario V3832TU (FE061PA) is a solid mid-range notebook geared towards business users and multimedia fans. With its emphasis on performanc...

Good processing power for asking price, high quality speakers, doesn't skimp on features

Occasional reflectivity issues, integrated graphics chip, we didn't like the design

Despite its somewhat dull appearance, the Compaq Presario V3832TU (FE061PA) is bursting with verve and functionality. With the exception of hardcore gamers, it should satisfy all types of users.

Hewlett-Packard Compaq Presario C710TU

Cheap, well featured, good battery life, inexpensive, affordable, cheap

Slow performance, lacks PC Card or Express Card expansion slots

It might not be fast, but it sure is affordable. At under $700, this 15.4in notebook is ideal for students, workers, anyone really, who wants a basic machine for perusing the Web and typing up documents, or even for viewing and storing digital photos.

Hewlett-Packard Compaq Presario V6503AU (GN410PA)

The HP Compaq Presario V6503AU (GN410PA) is our second look at HP Compaq's new notebook design. This AMD-based notebook provides enough power for the ...

Design, volume control and QuickPlay shortcut

Performance, speakers lack bass

A formidable notebook choice with a classy design. Although it's aimed at the casual user in both price and performance, we still feel that an extra $100 can get you a more powerful Intel-based machine.

Compaq Presario B1973TU

Strong build, Portable

Slow performance

While it's a fairly stylish notebook with a nice build, we can't help but think that you can get more for your money. If you like the design, but want a better performer, it might be worth waiting for Compaq's new Centrino models to come out.

Very good performance ; Smooth HD Video Playback ; Dedicated GPU ; Good onboard sound

The Compaq CQ40-536TX is a well-balanced 14-inch laptop, offering you very good performance. But it comes at a cost, compared to some of the other budget offerings.
