Processing power is so much better than my old laptop, will happily run updates, downloads and internet searches simultaneously. Good looking, good value for money.

Windows 8 is annoying but I'll get the hang of it! I had a pop-up message from HP on first use saying that the warranty (advertised as 1 year) has expired already so need to check this out.

The track pad is not really good

Bought this for my daughter she loves it . Sound brill, screen very crisp and clear.

dvd playback programe not great a bit out dated . Downloaded a newer one with no problem working great now .

This laptop is very fast

Unwanted advertising program got in with an update and I cannot get rid of it. Extremely annoying!

Space bar can be a bit hit and miss as to when it works.

Excellent looking machine, lovely screen, good size and pretty good battery life. Works right out of the box, although if you are not used to Win 8.1 it takes some time to get used to.

It's already a little slow - nothing major, just takes time to boot. There is a lot of bloatware pre-installed that has to be removed if you want to increase performance (I suggest disabling some start up programs). Keyboard is pretty poor and could be...
