HP Pavilion dm4-3090se Laptop Review

Stylish Beats Audio. The 14-inch Pavilion dm4 Beats Edition is the most stylish Beats Audio notebook to date.. but how does it perform in a market that is increasingly favoring similarly-priced Ultrabooks?

Stylish red and black design, Excellent CPU and HDD/SSD performance all-around, Rubber texture, Quiet fan noise and optical drive, Low temperatures when stressed, High resolution matte display, Backlit keys, The red and black theme together with the...

Starting price, Plastic case, Fingerprint magnet, Shallow keys, Small touchpad, Tight port placement, Average outdoor usability, The notebook could have expanded upon its Beats Audio focus with more audio inputs and an analog volume controller. A...

HP Pavilion dm4-1065dx

Editors' note: This review is part of our 2010 retail laptop and desktop back-to-school roundup , covering specific fixed configurations of popular systems that can be found in retail stores.

Stylish design and thin body; fast Core i5 performance; strong battery life.

Lacks dedicated graphics; similarly priced laptops include Blu-ray.

HP's slick and powerful Pavilion dm4-1065dx offers great core performance, long battery life, and an eye-catching design at a very competitive price, making it a very attractive back-to-school laptop.

HP Pavilion dm4-3010tx Review

The HP Pavilion dm4-3010tx has been in the market for quite a while now, but from what we have seen, it is one of the better options. Despite being on Sandy Bridge, the performance is actually quite good. But the real cherry on the cake is the very...

HP dm4 Beats Edition Notebook Review: Down With The Beat

When you think about a company like HP, you probably don't think about innovation. They're an old company, one that now has a massive market and lots of customers to worry about losing. Common sense says they are more likely to be slow and cautious.

The configure-to-order dm4t is a slim, stylish laptop that features long battery life and entertainment-minded features. We could do without all the bloatware, however.

Stylish design, Excellent battery life, Strong productivity performance

Lots of bloatware, Integrated graphics

Good, battery life, light weight, excellent all round performance and superb sound reproduction

Playing high-end games is not very pleasing experience and even the track pad is not the best in the class. Also, it lacks HDMI port

HP Pavilion DM4-3010TX definitely proves to be an ideal choice for those looking for a notebook with sturdy build quality, excellent battery life and superb performance.

Really nice computer . . . . when it works

Bought and HP Pavillion laptop in Dec 2010. It worked great for 2 or 3 months (I really liked it) and then it developed an intermittent problem that prevents me from logging on. I never know when it will occur. The problem may continue for minutes or...

OK computer, but AWFUL service

Stay away from HP. Many better options that actually also offer excellent support.

Cheap, Cheap, Cheap

Touch pad is awful and sensitivity is poor. Bluetooth has major issues. Biggest problem BY FAR is calling tech support. Calls will go to Costa Rica, Philippines, India, etc. Reps are rude & just read off their computer. Assume all callers are idi

Never again will I buy HP anything

After waiting for this to ship from the HP factory in China I was eager to check this baby out. I have had some type of problem with all 3 of the other HP laptops but I guess I expected something to go wrong with a laptop computer. I was so mad at...

Above average on price, performance, style, screen looks, weight, features. This was the fourth laptop I have purchased direct from HP website

HP refused to fix, screen died 10 weeks after purchase.Hp contend that it must have been abused causing the screen to die. BS I know now that they have an issue with some of these screens, which causes it to crack.Check web it is a known issue
