HP Pavilion dv6915nr review: HP Pavilion dv6915nr

HP Pavilion dv6915nr

Attractive design; decent battery life; comfortable keyboard; touch pad on/off button; touch-sensitive media controls; dual headphone jacks.

Mediocre performance on benchmarks; speakers produce treble sound.

The well-designed HP Pavilion dv6915nr incorporates most of the features you'll need for school, but other 15.4-inch laptops offer better performance for the same price.

Great Laptop for the Price

I would definitely purchase more HP laptops from Newegg.Com ... Been with NewEgg for over 7 years now.

HP as a company makes some of the best laptop designs and features I've ever seen. I am a big fan of the HP Pavilion. The laptop itself has great style, features and is overall a great laptop. The price is great for a reliable product you can trust. I...

The Speakers isn't that loud on max so if your watching a movie you might want to put on headphones. The mouse pad isn't the greatest but I have USB mouse most of the time so it doesn't matter

monitor died, sniff

little disappointed that the monitor stopped working after 2 weeks. The battery life isn't that long as well. But it is pretty to look at.

Attractive looking

After owning this laptop for two weeks, the monitor died. We are sending it in to HP. Will keep updated as to what happens with HP

Vista isn't as bad as its reputation; however, the computer came pre-loaded with some annoying Widgets that border on spyware: WildTangent games, shortcuts to websites, Yahoo toolbar, the option to install Weather Bug. I spent the first hour I owned...

The large RAM, fast processor, and copious hard drive space are more than sufficient to keep the hardware-hungry Vista running smoothly. The value for it was excellent, too- I definitely shopped around for a good price before selecting this computer. I...

The hard drive has fewer RPMs than most of the other hard drives available, which might be a problem for heavy computer users, though it certainly functions fine for how I use it. It does not come with system restore CDs- you have to make your own from...

Great machine - ready to go out of the box, quick setup, very small amount of free software cluttering up the drive

Hewlett Packard Pavilion dv6910us PC Notebook: Finally Something Well Priced and High Quality!

Recently my wife and I decided it was time to get rid of our PCs and buy two notebooks. We both decided that we would do research and choose whatever we thought was best for each one of us. Somehow, I ran across Hewlett Packard's large selection of ...

Lots of memory and hard drive space, chic and attractive, light and small, user friendly

Nothing worth mentioning

This is a Rock Solid System

I bought this for taking on-line classes and it is great. I'm using it as an all purpose PC. I had some games that I bought that would not play on my beefed up home system that work great on this laptop! I've priced this elsewhere and the overall...
