HP Pavilion dv8-1190ee

The HP Pavillion can handle games pretty well and has much better specs than most other desktop replacements, but it is expensive

The HP Pavilion dv8-1190ee is a fast applications machine for a fair price. It can also handle games but isn't quite the best in the business.

great laptop with design fault

I own 2 of these units and love them both. However all these 1100 models had a design fault with the wireless dropping and the volume bar going crazy.HP should have done a recall!!!Need a good lawyer and all owners to fight this issue!!!

Powerful,Quiet,Comfortable keyboard,Fast,Quality display

HP Pavilion DV8-1250EA

First of all it is an 18.4" TFT laptop for home entertainment or gaming so no one with a right mind can’t get an 18.4’’ laptop and complain about the size!!!! Processor Intel Core i7 ( Quad-Core )• Cache 6 MB - L3 Cache RAM : 4 GB (installed) DDR3...

It is not available anymore,

HP Pavilion DV8-1080EA

Big screen with fantastic picture quality. Powerful processor handles lastest games such as Call of Duty: Modern warfare 2 with total ease. I've come from XP and find windows 7 very easy to use. Great sound from built-in speakers. Far better reception...

It's not cheap.

HP Pavilion DV8-1080EA

Fast processor ans plenty of memory, big clear screen, good keyboard. Also like the the touch sensitive controls for the volume etc.

Rather heavy to be classed as a 'Laptop' it is more of a desktop replacement. Having said that I use it on my lap!

HP Pavilion DV8-1080EA

Brilliant laptop very good screen, keyboard and processing power. very quick and very easy to use and has all the connections you would need. it is very well designed and has a good bluray player.

Because of a full size keyboard and 18.4'' screen it is quite big and a little bit heavy but that is expected with the processo,r memory and hardrives used. the battery only lasts 2 hrs.
