Review HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15-n010sg Notebook

Slim all-rounder. It's a slim 15.6-inch all-rounder including a touchscreen that Hewlett Packard has with its Pavilion TouchSmart 15. A Core i7 and GeForce core provide enough computing power. Owing to the ULV CPU, the laptop should also offer long...

Decent application and gaming performance; Modest power consumption; Good battery runtimes

Dark screen with bluish cast; 12 month warranty only; No VGA out; Fast Ethernet only

Hewlett Packard only includes a 12-month warranty at a purchase price of 800 Euros (~$1088). The competition offers more here. Why HP installs such a dark screen is also inconceivable.

How smart is this touch-capable computer?

Attractive design ; reasonable build quality ; low price ; DVD writer ; all-round AMD APU

Poor keyboard ; disappointing screen ; unbalanced speakers ; mediocre battery life ; 4GB RAM

HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15 review

The Pavilion laptops have traditionally been HP's affordable ‘everyday computing' range. But the new HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15 shows signs of starting to move upmarket a bit. Here's our full HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15 review.

The lack of decent screen resolution is disappointing in a laptop costing Almost £700, but the Pavilion TouchSmart 15 is a solid workhorse of a laptop with a reasonable mid-range price tag. It's not particularly portable, but it'll be a choice for...

HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15 Sleekbook review

A likeable touchscreen laptop, but we've seen other budget touchscreen laptops with better battery life and performance

HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15

HP's been growing its range of AMD-powered Sleekbooks for some time, and it's now the turn of its Pavilion TouchSmart 15 to take the spotlight. It's a laptop, you won't be surprised to discover, that boasts a 15in touchscreen as its main selling point.

A keenly priced touchscreen laptop, but middling performance puts it behind the best of the budget crop

Good enough for me

Came with a deeply discounted McAfee Internet protection software suite (worth every penny even at full price). Touchscreen really lets Windows 8.1 potential shine through. APU provides light gaming (wouldn't recommend anything beyond Sims or Civ)....

Windows 8.1 (yes that IS a pro); Touchscreen; Zippy APU Processor; more than enough RAM; huge Hard Drive; lightweight; feels brand-new

Updates, updates, updates, get your Windows updates here. Not really surprising given that this is a recently purchased machine

This machine flies in adobe CC products.

Had to do work in a bind. Needed a good, quick raster performance product. Gives workstation performance in illustrator, photoshop, indesign. Going to get 128MB SSD drive and 16 GB's for this machine. Runs 2.6-2.9 Ghz. Video card lacks firepower with...

Quality Control Disappointing

This is my first laptop. I bought HP since I liked their printers and it had the best screen display. Once it arrived, I could not log on unless it was beside the modem. Therefore it was difficult to set up as I spent many hours running all the tests...

A few tweaks

My first laptop. Battery seems to run down fairly quickly but most of the time I can leave the thing connected to power source. I don't care much for the Windows 8.1 but it is better than 8 and not HP's fault. Overall a good machine which appears to be...

Great computer!!!

Not only is this things gorgeous and streamlined, it's screaming fast for just about anything you could need it for! HOWEVER, please note that the over 4GB of shared video memory is NOT "reallocatable" for gaming, but this PC does absolutely support...
