HP ProBook 4310s

The HP ProBook 4310s has features that you wouldn't normally find on a consumer laptop, but the small battery alone isn't going to cut it.

Fast hard drive. Matted screen minimizes glare. Has RJ11 and Finger print reader. Lightweight. Inexpensive.

Boxy, thick design. 37WH battery alone is not enough for road warriors

HP ProBook 4310s Review

The HP ProBook 4310s takes the same design we've seen from the ProBook 4510s and 4710s and made it more portable thanks to a 13-inch display. The 4310s was designed to provide road warriors with a low-cost machine that still delivers solid performance....

A good price for a 13.3" business notebook ; Nice keyboard ; Attractive design and relatively lightweight

Not-so-great build quality ; Custom configurations are overpriced ; Touchpad buttons are just plain horrible

Finally, we recorded the following external temperatures using an IR thermometer after running two consecutive PCMark05 benchmarks. This should serve as an indicator of how hot the notebook will get after about 30 minutes of serious use. All...

Review HP ProBook 4310s Notebook

Assiduous saver? HP serves business customers in the field of sma

Good stability of the base unit; Digital HDMI video output; Generous keyboard; Bright LED display; Good office performance

Case is susceptible to pollution; Ports are located in the front area of the lateral edges; Only 12 months warranty; Only glare panel available for now; Fan is always present

How nonpractical high-gloss surfaces can be - fingerprints, wear marks, unpleasantly sticky feel - one readily passes on it, especially on business notebooks.

HP ProBook 4310s

If you find that the price is right and you are only planning on doing menial tasks, you could do a lot worse than the HP ProBook.

Decent battery life

No expandability through docks, odd for a business product, Not a great screen

Review: HP ProBook 4310s

When HP launched the ProBook series back in April of this year it was clear that they were just starting off. The company had plans to attack the small business segment and would be doing so with a number of models. Our original review covered the...

HP's ProBook 4310s is a nice all-rounder, but battery life could be better

The ProBook 4310s is a competent business laptop with plenty of positive qualities

It might not do quite enough to win an award, but we can't help liking the little ProBook 4310s. It's as comfortable hooked up to an HDTV as it is churning through an Excel spreadsheet, and as a sensible, compact, all-round laptop, it has plenty to offer.

HP's ProBook 4310s is a nice all-rounder, but battery life could be better

The ProBook 4310s is a competent business laptop with plenty of positive qualities

It's a good thing, too, as reflections are kept to a minimum, and despite the slight loss in vibrancy, the HP still made a good fist of our test photos, with accurate colours and only weak contrast counting against it

HP ProBook 4310s review

It might look a little 1980s, but it skilfully blurs the line between business and pleasure.

HP's ProBook 4310s, an affordable business notebook with HDMI and Gigabit Ethernet

Not quite the consumer/business crossover it aims to be, but there's a lot to like in this clever mix of old-style business laptop and feature-packed modern machine
