Overall, the Probook 4710s proves to be an interesting bundle for not much money. However, because of the reflecting display, the test sample is rather an entry-level multimedia device. Performance and connectivity (HDMI) would also fit

A great price for a 17" business notebook ; Nice keyboard ; Attractive, conservative design

Sub-par build quality ; Bad touchpad buttons ; Too difficult to upgrade ; Poor thermal design (gets hot)

Bottom line, the HP ProBook 4710s, like the rest of the ProBook line, is a good notebook for its intended market. However, HP has some room for improvement if they want to turn this laptop into a deal that's too good to pass up

For little more than a grand, this 17-inch notebook delivers good performance and battery life—not to mention a dose of style—for small business users.

The HP ProBook 4710s is a big-screen business desktop replacement that offers good performance for the price.

Large LED-backlit HD display; discrete GPU; good performance for the price; good battery life for the class; welcome software extras

No fingerprint reader or multimedia control keys; smallish touch pad; Function-key legends not differentiated from one another; glossy lid shows fingerprints; mediocre speakers

The ProBook 4710s isn't perfect, but its few shortcoming were made to keep the price as close to The ProBook 4710s isn,000 as possible. And HP did not cut corners when it came to the most important attributes for a desktop replacement: The LED-backlit...

Absolute Best Value

This is the greatest value I have seen in searchiong for a notebook for both work and entertainment. The only drawback I have is that it is set up on a 32 bit platform.

I love it:)

I like it so much, it is amazing Notebook for playing games and to do my homework at school or home any time. The 8- cell battery is good for 4 hours, which is just enough for school. The LED screen is amazing, I love it:)

Good computer with weak speakers

Overall this is a good computer and a good value. Built-in speakers are junk but sounds great hooked to external speakers. Big screen is nice.
