Excellent Service and Computer

 

I was amazed by the ProBooks' durability. I bought it initially as something to throw away, but ended using it as a home office.

I bought one of these models in 2014, and proceeded to backpack through Europe with it. It performed admirably despite being shaken on a daily basis for over a year. This second purchase of the same model was based on previous experience. Motherboard...

2 Hardware failures after about 4 months

 

Fast and fully equiped to protect itself against user damage like a drop.

The computer is fast, especially with a 6gb ram upgrade

The laptop stoped chargeing about the 4th month unless you turn the machine off and do a hard reset and a week after that The hard drive stopped working correctly. Im assuming this is all the motherboard

Works like a champ

 

It's sad that when first unit is returned that some effort at Newegg isn't made to insure the replacement unit functions properly. been month now since purchased this unit - it sure takes newegg long time to turn around the RMA

Hardware all OK, nice screen, all hardware OK per ad, battery charged up OK

Win7 fails to load. Numerous runs following the instructions & using windows recovery to load the Operating system. This is the replacement unit so this is #2 that will have to be RMA'ed maybe 3rd unit will go

Broke battery release

 

Looked like a keeper until flipped it over and saw the broke battery release, won't recognize that a battery is installed -- whoever packaged this had to see that broke latch, needs some QC on packing line

clean, nice looking laptop - fresh win7 installation
