Review HP ProBook 6460b LG645EA Notebook

Office boy. The HP ProBook 6460b LG645EA integrates itself seamle

High-end workmanship; Reflection poor display; Interface positioning; Touchpad can be disabled; WWAN module installed

Display's narrow viewing angles, moderate contrast; Lack of USB 3.0 support

Regrettably, it wasn't enough for a really good screen in the portable ProBook 6460b.

HP ProBook 6460b Review

The $799 HP ProBook 6460b is an attractive business notebook for a good price with robust security features. If you don't need a lot of muscle, the Core i3 version we reviewed is a solid choice, but those looking for more performance should upgrade to...

Durable design, Stays cool, Long battery life, Fairly powerful SRS audio, Strong wireless performance

Multitouch gestures don't work consistently, Mushy touchpad buttons, Mediocre webcam, Narrow viewing angles

HP ProBook 6460B

The ProBook 6460B is all business, for better or for worse. Nobody's going to get overly excited by it, but as a workhorse it's certainly got some appeal.

Solid design ; Good battery life

Design won't suit everybody

The ProBook 6460B is, indeed, a crewcut. Its style is simple, it's not loaded with frills, fancies or anything requiring product of any type. It's all about business, and provides a decent platform to do that business from.

I have purchased 2 of these now for clients of mine and I have just got to say that these computers are amazing. $150 for a refurbished computer in close to new condition with Intel core i5 that is business grade hardware is simply unbeatable. These...

Battery issues and old BIOS version

Really disappointed in the quality. Received very late (over a month after the purchase). Had lots of scratches, keyboard was worn out and they put stickers on the keys (badly installed, had scratches on my fingers when typing) and the battery did not...

Cheap, good processing power, robust.

Thick, heavy, comes with BIOS to the oldest version and no OS and had a hard time making it boot the CD at first, had to install Windows thru a USB drive so I could update the BIOS and then be able to install Linux properly and use the CD as a boot drive.

Fantastic Value!

At a 149.99 pricepoint, these are a fantastic value!

I purchased two units and they are both in great shape. Here are the following points. 1. Both came upgraded as 6470b units with 2.6 ghz. processors 2. Both in fantastic shape with only minor blemishes 3. Both updated easily to Windows 10 with zero...

Very minimal cons. 1. One unit had a small black blemish on the screen in the lower left corner that is practically unnoticeable. 2. The other unit has a small portion of the screen with some backlight bleeding.

Probook 6460B

Fastest notebook I've ever owned, Display is crisp, & clear, HDMI output

Read the reviews first so I knew I was taking a chance. Sure enough, I was a victim of the battery not charging dilemma. Still thought it was a pretty decent deal, everything does work, but the battery not charging "is" a big minus. Now to add insult...

A great gaming laptop

I bought one from US Micro (Very good compnay) and it had a 250GB hd no webcam, no SIM slot, no fingerprint reader, But a perfect gaming laptop, (Not for hard core gaming though.)

HAS UEFI ability, Can handle 16GB of ram, has expresscard port, has a Centrino WIFI, has bluetooth, Has Display Port++*, Fast processor.

No Fingerprint reader, may not have a webcam, Non discreet Graphics. UEFI not enabled.

Better than expected

Works very good and it does the job for programing and gaming.

Battery life could be better for its size (Only lasts 2 hours)
