Review HP ProBook 6470b Notebook

Business on the go. Beside its 15-inch ProBook laptop, HP also offers a smaller version for business people who value mobility. The ProBook 6470B provides a full-blown Office device in a small size with Intel's dual-core processor and integrated Intel...

Solid workmanship, Many interfaces, Temperature management, Performance, Battery life, Matte screen, The well-crafted casing featuring elegant materials and a timeless (but staid) design

Poor black value and contrast, Tight viewing angles, System noise, The screen could be a bit brighter for a 1000 Euro machine

HP 6470b ProBook

The HP 6470b ProBook Laptop is meant for personal as well as professional users. It has a bead-blast aluminum display with wear-resistant tungsten-colored finish that protects your laptop against everyday bumps and scratches as well as gives it a...

Good Work Laptop

If you do not like windows 8 and need a work laptop with Windows 7 this is the machine for you. Look no further.

Good work machine with options to use a docking station. Machine has plenty of power and good built quality. I buy these for a company and that seems to be the best application for these units

Comes with a lot of HP bloatware. You can always uninstall it or install a fresh copy of the OS

Somewhat Disappointed

I admit that I jumped on this deal like a dog with a new bone! I didn't even really study the specs, so I shouldn't have expected so much. The screen display is very unimpressive and the sound quality is only fair. I made the mistake of setting this...

Great price, if you can believe the "original" price

Display and sound leave a lot to be desired. Lacks features that are common on most laptops

HP ProBook 6470b

Sturdy and versatile package. Users like them, and we've had very few physical problems aside from a cracked screen (while sitting open on a desk against a wall!) and a broken hinge.

HP ProBook 6470b

Good machine, for a home system. I have a feeling that these should be able to last awhile without any hardware problems.

That woudl actually be a four core processor. i7 doesn't even come in oct. Good machine, but for home users. More of an awesome media and gaming rig than for business use.

HP ProBook 6470b

This computer is a beast. 8 core processor, 16GB RAM, 2TB hard drive. Excellent graphics card. My only issue that I have with this computer, is that the fan kicks on a lot and is very noisy. Going to look at the BIOS and see if I can turn it down.

HP ProBook 6470b

The HP ProBook 6460b has a known issue with a bad BIOS ROM chip. Basically, all of the sudden it won't power on. The charge light will stay on, and flash amber when you push the power button, but it won't power on. I had 3 out of 7 die within two...

These were a mainstay for a while. They last, no doubt. But when they begin to fail (hardware), they seem to do so in the most hard to pin down way.... :)
