Want a good home multimedia entertainment laptop with a 16-inch screen and two years global warranty? Read on.

Nice bright screen ; Decent onboard audio ; Nice audio-visual experience ; Very good performance ; Two year warranty

Average keyboard ; Poor touchpad response ; Battery life

This 16-inch laptop from Asus is a good candidate for a home entertainment multimedia laptop. It has a very good screen and onboard audio combo. The laptop comes with two years global warranty. It has sub-par battery life and keyboard, though.

still runs just as fast as when i bought it.

does everything it can with the specs

Screen flicker is a major problem

 

I called tech support and they were more than willing to take more of my money for a repair. I can't in good conscience keep buying from a company that does not make a product that lasts little more than the warranty covers.

Overall a good laptop...

...if you don't have the screen flicker problem like every one else.
