Kurio Smart 2-in-1 Review

With a keyboard for schoolwork and a tablet for games, detachable 2-in-1 notebooks make sense as child-appropriate computers. It's only surprising that the Kurio Smart ($199) is the first of its type that we've seen made specifically for kids....

Fun, motion-controlled games; First Windows hybrid for kids

Sluggish performance; Cramped, shallow keyboard; Blue-tinted display; Parental Controls don't support all browsers

The Kurio Smart may be the first hybrid device for kids, but it has too many flaws for even a novice user to suffer.

Kurio Smart Review: A Full Windows 2-in-1 For Kids

While there are a few Windows tablets out there, there aren't many that you'd feel comfortable handing off to your child to mess around with. Kurio, maker of the Xtreme Android tablets for kids, have recently released a full Windows 2-in-1...

Great design, very easy to use for kids. Decent performance and battery life

Camera could use a lot of work

With its sturdy design, good performance, decent battery life, and the ability to use Microsoft's Family Safety system to control what your kids do and see online, the Kurio Smart is a good starter computer for kids ages 6 and up.

Kurio Smart

Detachable keyboard ; Runs on Windows 10 ; Free year of Office 365 ; Motion sensor

Below average camera resolutions ; No USB Port

Product excellent and is quite child friendly. Bought for 9 yrs old and was easy to operate and compatible enough to manage and operate. Games are great and the fact it has parental control is a great advantage I have recommended it yo 5 other families...
