Good laptop but very SLOW Boot time

 

The T530 is a solid laptop. I bought the i7-3720QM CPU @2.60GHz, 4gb RAM, 320 HDD, windows 7. Immediately added a 8gb ram stick, so I have 12 gb.

System Boards Failed Twice

 

Within two weeks the system board failed. So, I had it repaired and 8 days later the replacement part failed. Now I am without an operating computer as it is at Lenovo's facility being repaired.

Bought one for a director - solid unit, great weight-to-performance ration. Trackpad and stick means either way she's happy. Charges quickly. Holds battery for a long time. Dock is slick like every Thinkpad dock.

This thinkpad is a beast. The overall computer is nothing but the greatest of what a ThinkPad today has to offer. This line of computers are much better than what other brands have to offer. The drivers seem to work smoothly with the newest Windows 8....

Lenovo Does Not Support Customers

 

Do not purchase from Lenovo unless you have strong internal hardware support staff and a dedicated person to manage communications with Lenovo. If you have issues with CS, press to speak with supervising staff and express concern with their process....

Offers useful connectivity possibilities that are not always available on newer machines, helpful for those who use legacy software or components. Nice screen

Lenovo Customer Support, particularly on the sales side, is grossly inefficient. None of the people you talk to when calling them with issues has real authority to help you. This can be very frustrating if you are an individual or a small business....
