This Lenovo offers peppy WorldBench performance and a big hard drive, but its battery life is far from stellar.

Disappointing battery life

You could do worse than the Lenovo 3000 N100. On the other hand, you could do better with a similarly configured HP Pavilion dv6000, for instance. The dv6000 lacks a fingerprint reader, but the battery life, keyboard, speakers, and expansion options...

OK laptop - poor service - extraordinarily poor battery life

Better than Compaq/HP laptops but that's not saying much. Yes, the keyboard is nice and solid, yes the laptop is put together nicely. The legendary IBM service has gone missing perhaps a victim of low prices and the 1-year warranty doesn't mean much....
