U510 - so/so

I've been in IT for 10+ years. I was looking for a computer to do video editing, and this one has the horsepower for a good price. When i have it hooked to an external mouse and keyboard, I love it, but the lack of an inexpensive simple vga converter...

Horsepower is great. Quick machine. Price is good

Mini vga is NOT a mini vga. I've purchased 3 adapters with no success. I haven't even found a company (including lenovo) that sells the correct adapter for this port, so you have to buy a more expensive ($30+) hdmi - vga if you have an older projector....

Love it

Overall I love this new laptop. It looks great, is fast and I am not a gamer so I didn't need i7 and a better graphics card that are available on other models direct from the manufacturer.

SSD ; Backlit keyboard ; Speed ; Looks great

Location of USB ports is not ideal being on both sides
