Display quality; Marginal performance; Weak WLAN; Only 10/100 MBit-LAN

The Asus F75A offers a better port layout and better WLAN performance but uses an older Pentium CPU. The Toshiba Satellite Pro C870 convinces with more performance and a matte display, but is also slightly more expensive.

Great laptop, awful warranty

The warranty is awful. 5 eggs for the product, but 1 egg for warranty. I paid for 2 years with accidental coverage. I travel a lot and so I need protection in case something happens. Well as fate would have it, something did happen; an entire latte...

Amazing laptop. Great features, powerful hardware, as good for entertainment as it was for work. I never had any issues with it whatsoever. Lenovo made a solid product and for the price I couldn't have done better

It's on the heavier side, and it's obviously bigger than one might like. When using Windows 7 it gets a little squirrely coming out of sleep. Had to replace the mechanical with a SSD

Great Laptop

Know what you're buying, this is great for web browsing and email, but not for gaming, even some facebook games can cause it to slow down some, but for the price,and what you get its a good deal.

I have ordered around 15 of these for customers over the past few months, and so far all of them have worked great, with the only complaint being that it comes with windows 8, but you can't fault the computer for that

Absolutely Fantastic

The other comment who was complaining about driver support, I had no problem with, I was easily able to use the nvidia command center to get the latest drivers.

This laptop far exceeded my expectations. The core i7 outperforms nearly any other laptop processor and coupled with the 720m makes this laptop a force to be reckoned with. The power this laptop contains, especially for the price I was able to get it...

People often put windows 8 as a con, but you can just format and install 7 if you really need it. But it seemed to me that 8 is just 7 with a metro app running with it, and if you learn out to use it, multitasking is incredibly simple

Large screen with a resolution friendly to folks with less than perfect eyesight. Powerful CPU and very capable video for everyday use
