Need for Speed: Most Wanted Benchmarked

What a rush. About seven years after the original, the publisher EA is now taking the plunge by releasing a new version of the popular Need for Speed: Most Wanted. The game was no longer produced by the initial developers, but instead by the Burnout...

All in all the hardware demands are more or less on the same level as the aforementioned Frostbite 2 competitors. It is a shame that it can occasionally come to annoying performance fluctuations regardless of the adopted hardware. Even luxury GPUs,...

Terrible display and touchpad

I suppose if I didn't have high expectations for a machine, or even medium expectations, it'd probably be OK for a grandparent or a kid.

Not much. The keyboard was fine. The display is very large, but the displays is my biggest complaint

I'm a hardware engineer and design commercial electronics. I have some clue :). The display on this laptop was the worse display I had ever seen in my life. There was less than a zero degree viewing angle. By looking straight at an evenly colored green...

Not worth Windows 8 headaches

fast for price

too many cons created by Windows 8 ; Charms bar continues to come up ; Touchpad is so sensitive that combined with OS make it a huge headache ; I have tried work arounds classic shell Start 8 but still charms shows up constantly. Not worth the...

Good product, good service

1 egg for the dead pixel, I would only take half an egg if I could as they were very good about taking care of it.

Laptop has been working great for about 60 days, but recently developed a dead pixel in the center of the screen. I was able to set up a repair request with Lenovo within about 10 minutes by calling Phone Support. Received a free shipping label

The pixel density is a bit low for the large screen, which results in a really faint visible grid on the screen. Easy to overlook ; Developed dead pixel after about 60 days, but support has been very helpful

Pretty good little machine

win 8 is mildly annoying but not so bad

Fast, not much extra stuff installed, nice keyboard

the trackpad is awful. it randomly stops registering my finger, it moves the cursor for no reason, it makes me want to punch the screen in frustration. It's so bad I took an egg off the rating

Levovo G780 Laptop

Update the Wireless driver immediately after setup to eliminate dropped wireless connections. If not, the wireless connection will be dropped every few hours. I first thought it was the Bluetooth that was causing this, so I turned it off but still had...

Nice build quality, very sturdy and stable. Fast hardware, especially with the I7, 8GB Ram & Nvidia 635M. All the storage I need with the huge 1TB hard drive, and no video stutters or audio drops with the 5400 rpm drive speed. Brilliant colors and...

Windows 8 Start screen. I was completely disoriented by the Windows 8 Start screen, but quickly found a solution. I downloaded Classic Shell (free) off the web and now have the familiar Start Button and boot directly to the desktop - just like Windows...

Go home Lenovo, you're drunk..

It is what it is. We got it on sale, and for the price I can't complain too much really. Since this is my work machine, I use it in my office, plugged in and hardlined, with a headset, so all in all it works for me. But if you're not intending to use...

It seems more than capable of handling everything I need it to with some minor adjustments. Windows 8 seems to be the biggest fault software wise with this laptop

Where to start ; Wireless card is subpar at best. This has been commented on on several other reviews I've read for this laptop, so I won't dwell on it. I recommend if you're more than 30 or so feet from your router, just hardline it if you can. I work...

lenovo G780 (59359270)

Despite the cons this is a great laptop. I would recommend this as a desktop replacement, I wouldnt travel with it too much. This replaced a 4 year old netbook computer I had. I believe the processor is comparable to a old i3 / i5 chip. Newegg support...

The battery seems like its lasts forever, 17inch screen, great keyboard, great price you can get a 17inch for this price, fast, Windows 8. (yes I like windows 8 deal with it)

Mine came with the plastic cover around the the LCD screen on the left side was open (you could see the LCD mount) and wouldn't snap back in. I got with newegg support to get a RMA but decided for a $15 gift card. IT was a minor issue fixed with crazy...

If you're the type of people that like small laptops this is not the best for you because it's 17.3"

It has a nice 17.3" display, the keyboard feels nice, fast, and aside from the OS being total junk it is an overall good machine

Windows 8 but it doesn't matter because I plan on installing Linux on it anyway
