Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 15

A rock-solid laptop for work or play—as long as you have an outlet nearby.

Hands on: Lenovo Flex 15 review

Lenovo gets down to a bit of flexitime with its latest bendy laptop

Hybrid chassis ; decent screen ; great specs

Chunky chassis ; uninspiring look

Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 15 review

The screen and touchpad could be better, but this novel and powerful touchscreen hybrid is a great alternative to Lenovo's expensive Yoga laptops

The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 15 isn’t without its problems, but it’s a fun alternative to the more expensive Yoga hybrids and its flexible hinge makes it stand out from other similarly priced touchscreen laptops. It’s also got the hardware to compete with...

Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 15

The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 15 is a budget laptop with a twist. Where most at this price rarely stray far from the tried and tested, the Flex 15 features an unusually flexible design.

A stylish, attractive 15.6in laptop that’s more flexible than most, but the dismal display dulls its appeal

Lenovo Flex 15(59401417)

Would not recommend. Lenovo used to be high quality, but now the laptops are cheap productions. Now I have to deal with a skipping mouse when I use my laptop thanks to Newegg.

Thin profile

Touchpad is extremely loose. It is not firm with the body of the laptop. After sending it in for repair, the touchpad is still loose and on top of that the touchpad began to skip/jump. After sending it in for an RMA, Newegg claimed that there was no...

Great ultrabook for the price!

I bought this on newegg when it was $680. Don't know why there was such a huge price increase, but you can still find it elsewhere for $700 which is a stellar deal for this laptop. It is a great ultrabook for that price. I haven't run the battery all...

I7 processor is fast ; Good amount of memory ; Hybrid drive really helps with startup time ; Big touchscreen (hard to find on ultrabooks these days) ; Battery life is good ; Pretty thin and lightweight

Resolution ; Viewing angles ; Touchpad is okay, not great ; No backlight keyboard

Great Deal, Very Happy

The laptop is great so far. Portability is amazing with how thin the unit is and the battery life is great ~6 hours of use. The hinge system seems pretty stout and the computer functions as I had hoped

The battery alignment was off and took a little persuasion to get it to work the first time. The screen is a bit dark/jumps brightness a lot, but that is easily fixed if you know what you are doing

Cheap Ideapad Flex

Light weight ; Touchscreen

Not a quality Lenovo product ; Terrible trackpad/touchpad ; Windows 8

Lacks standard function

Basically a good maching. See cons

Lenovo has the bios set up so that it is meaningless to do an image backup of the root drive. It will back up, but when one boots from the usb port, the hard drive is invisible, so a restore is not possible. The only only thing I get from Lenovo...

Pretty lame that Lenovo can't put a working computer in the box and sticks me with the pain of returning it and waiting another 10 days to get a new one. NewEgg return process was pretty painless and it's really nothing they can control other than...

The outside of the computer looks great

The computer would not power on out of the box. Lenovo said to send it back. Hoping they send me a functioning laptop next time
