Review Lenovo G770 M533AGE Notebook

Fast boot times. The 17.3 inch G770 Lenovo notebook is equipped with Enhanced Experience and VeriFace, both of which are intended to improve the performance of the Windows 7 operating system. With EE Boot Optimizer the G770 accelerates from zero to one...

Faster booting with EE Boot Optimizer, Facial recognition with VeriFace, Attractive appearance, Included accessories from Cyberport: RAM module + notebook bag, Low system noise and temperatures on the notebook

Great product, But a few REALLY ANNOYING design issues

I would actually recommend this laptop to those who want a system they can use for gaming and watching movies expecially on bluray. My cons are minimal and just things that personally annoy me.

I bought this laptop because I loved the dedicated graphics player as well as the bluray player. I use my computer mostly for playing video games and watching bluray movies and the computer has definitely been all I wanted in these aspects and more....

My cons are very small but very annoying. First, everytime i turn of my computer but keep the power cord plugged in I hear this obnoxious high pitched buzzing comming from the AC to DC converter on the power cord that will not stop until I unplug it....

Very nice

A few people made comments about the video card. For me its a non-issue. The graphics are great. If you're running a game thats a serious resource hog than you may want to do a little research. Personally I think its a great machine and well worth the...

Nice display, plenty of power, fast and the Win7 is great. Super fast boot-up, plenty of RAM, and runs really quite and COOL. The only thing missing for us is a slot for Compact Flash cards but it reads all the others (and I knew that when I bought...

Some bloatware but not enough to be a nuisance. Easy enough to remove

Good Value

Screen size, performance, construction. Better image quality than a lot of desktop monitors

No low battery warning. The Lenovo power manager overrides the Windows manager and puts it to sleep when the battery is low instead of giving you a visual or verbal warning

Great large-screen laptop

Note: I got my G770 with slightly higher specs: Intel i5 2430M processor, 6GB DDR 1333 RAM, and a 750GB HDD. I'm dual-booting a fresh install of Windows 7 Home Premium and Ubuntu 11.10 on it. It meets all my needs for a laptop for internet, music, and...

Enormous screen, impressive battery life (~5 hours when I'm not doing anything intensive, same as my old laptop with a much bigger battery), keys feel nice and aren't squished together, full numeric keypad, boots up incredibly quickly, looks cool and...

It's pretty big and heavy (this is an acceptable trade-off for the screen size), the left mouse button on the trackpad has a little more "give" than the right one, but it works fine

Great Value

This laptop can't compete with the performance of $1,000+ 'Desktop Replacement' or 'Gaming' laptops, but for just over half the price it shouldn't be expected to.

All expected 17"-class features: Full keyboard w/10-key, etc ; Good fit and finish ; Solid feel ; Reasonable weight for its size ; Minimal bloatware, which can be removed easily ; Powerful enough for all routine productivity tasks and light/casual gaming

None, for the price

Technological Advancements

I personally am going for a Bachelors Degree at the moment and live on campus at my school. This computer easily fulfills and exceeds all of my needs. you may have some initial trouble finding a case if u don't order one off Newegg (17.3 in. is...

GENERAL: First off let me state that this computer is Wonderful. I have gotten more bang for my buck out of this thing than I have with any other computer. I had a tough time deciding between it and another highly rated computer on Newegg but I feel...

I don't know if I would call anything in particular about this computer a con. It had virtually no bloatware, so that will be no real issue. If I had to come up with a few things I would say that the G770 could use a cooling pad. It can get a bit...

So far, so good!

I will add that I've owned this thing for less than 24 hours. I just wanted to get a review up here so I can add to it later, but mainly to warn people about something. It's not a HUGE deal, but bugged me. In the tracking section of the website...

This laptop has everything. It looks amazing, it isn't as heavy as most 17 inch laptops, and the bloatware on it is at a minimum. The I3 processor in here is pretty great too, multi-tasking has never been this quick. I don't plan on gaming much on...

None really, so far
