Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 Review

Windows 8 hybrid notebooks are fun to play around with, but this is a luxury not everyone can afford. The trouble with these notebooks is that they are simply too expensive and since there're no strict guidelines set by Intel for these Ultrabooks, not...

Onboard storage is also a limiting factor here, but thankfully, you can expand it via the SD card slot. The speakers on the Yoga produce very weak sound. The max volume level is not very high and the audio fidelity is below average. The trackpad works...

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 review: a netbook by another name

A few years ago, netbooks were small, light, inexpensive, often underpowered computers — and the word quickly became a pejorative term, to be used only with the greatest of disdain as you throw your netbook out the window. Then came ultrabooks — small,...

Incredible battery life ; Small, sleek design ; Good keyboard and trackpad

Limited functionality because of Windows RT ; Slow, inconsistent performance ; Poor app ecosystem

Is $599 the right price for an Office machine?

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11's keyboard is permanently attached to the tablet section and when in tablet mode, it's bulky, heavy, and awkward to hold. Thankfully, if you'd rather lay your tablet down flat or simply watch movies on it, the Yoga 11's...

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 works as a laptop alternative, thanks to its always-attached keyboard and myriad useful ports, and its physical flexibility provides useful ergonomic options. Its battery charges quickly and depletes slowly. Brightness...

As a tablet, the device is too bulky and heavy to hold in your hands, and its Web performance is slow. A full Windows 8 version with updated specs will be available soon for only $150 more.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 is a great laptop alternative that's unfortunately too bulky to completely replace your tablet.

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 Review

If you're willing to settle with the Windows RT experience, while also saving some money and carrying around something more compact, the IdeaPad Yoga 11 might have the same level of appeal to keep you engaged. Just like its bigger sibling, the Yoga 11...

Cool convertible aspect ; Great battery life ; Lots of useful ports

A tad bit expensive ; Very weak speakers ; Low-res display

On the average right now, you can pick up the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 for approximately $600, which quite frankly, seems to be grossly expensive for a Windows RT device. However, when we add in the fact that it’s boasting an extremely usable keyboard,...

"A new kind of thing,to me the best machine to run WinRT"

I bought the Yoga 11 very early, after trying one. I find notebooks BORING, and for the first time I was excited

Huge battery life and SUPER quick charging.

Storage: don't expect miracles, 64 GB are not so much. But I connect an external HD if i need

The laptop-tablet hybrid is back in a smaller version with Windows RT, but can this 11-incher match its Windows 8-toting brother?

Looks great ; Easy hybrid functionality ; Comfortable keyboard ; Colossal battery life

Crazy price tag ; Barren app store ; Average screen ; Mediocre performance

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 review

The explosion of Windows 8 devices has seen manufacturers delivering all kinds of laptops with plenty of different takes on touchscreen integration. We've seen dual screens, tablets with removable keyboard docks, rotating screens and - in the case of...

Great design, responsive screen with good viewing angle, variety of positions is excellent, good battery life, HDMI output

Expensive, Windows RT only, app store limitations, no USB 3.0, keyboard is exposed when in tablet-position, heavier than tablet-only competitor

As much as we love the Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 11's 360-degree tiltable screen, it's the Windows RT only operating system and the overall high price which cuts it short of greater things. At £700 it's more than the similar-spec Microsoft Surface RT, and...

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 review

The Yoga 11 is slim, portable and transforms from a standard laptop into a tablet for swiping around Windows 8 RT. Sadly, it's a lot more expensive than Microsoft's Surface RT, making it very difficult to recommend.

Slim, portable design ; Converts from laptop into tablet ; Enough power for essential tasks ; Good battery life

Needlessly expensive ; Unimpressive screen resolution ; Windows 8 app store is still very sparse

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 has a lot going for it: it's slim, helpfully transforms into a tablet for watching video more comfortably and has enough juice under the hood for most of the everyday essentials. Sadly, it's just far too expensive.

A Tegra 3 tablet running Windows RT and priced this high definitely wouldn't be our first choice, based purely on specs.

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 review

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 is the smaller of two hybrid tablet/laptops from Lenovo, with this 11.6in-screen version running the Windows RT version of Windows 8 for ARM processors.

The nVidia Tegra processor means that the Lenovo Yoga 11 is only a modestly powered laptop, but it’s still perfectly adequate for routine tasks such as web browsing, running Microsoft Office or relaxing with some streaming video. Its super-slimline...
