Lenovo Yoga 2 11 (MultiTouch, 2.00GHz 1066MHz 2MB)

HP's recent Pavilion x360 promises a full-featured fold-back hybrid design in an 11-inch ultraportable body, for about the same price as a basic budget laptop. Dell's Inspiron 3000 offers much the same thing. Lenovo, the company that made this design...

The Yoga 2 11 is well-built for a budget laptop, and offers the same tablet and kiosk modes as its more-expensive cousins. Keyboard and touch pad are similarly impressive for the price.

The lower-power CPU doesn't offer fully mainstream performance, and the keyboard flexes under even light typing.

Lenovo's Yoga 2 11 combines the popular Yoga hybrid design with an affordable 11-inch ultraportable for a system that's budget-feeling but sturdy, and one of the best of a new breed of low-cost hybrids.

Lenovo Yoga 2 13 ( Core i5 1.60GHz, black)

Lenovo's Yoga remains one of the best computer designs to result from the release of Windows 8.

The Lenovo Yoga 2 13 is an excellent ultrabook combined with the flexibility of fully rotating hinges giving you the feel of a regular well-constructed laptop as well as other positions to take advantage of Window 8.1 and the 1080p touchscreen.

Few ports and connections and its 802.11n Wi-Fi means you're not getting the latest and greatest. Somewhat heavy to use as a hand-held tablet.

If you can't quite afford the Yoga 2 Pro but still want a full-time laptop and a part-time tablet, the 13-inch Lenovo Yoga 2 is an excellent choice.

Lenovo Yoga 2 11 review: A small laptop with tablet potential

This touchscreen notebook can play tablet dress-up, but Lenovo made a number of compromises to reach its budget price tag.

Thin and light for a laptop ; Attractively priced ; Useful tent and stand modes

Short battery life for a tablet ; Awkwardly thick and heavy in tablet mode ; Very flexy keyboard

Lenovo made a lot of compromises to hit this price poing, and did little to advance the hybrid concept. Still, the Yoga 2 11 has a good price-to-performance ratio.

Lenovo Yoga 2 13

The Lenovo Yoga 2 13 is a well-designed convertible hybrid laptop, but the construction feels flimsier than that of previous iterations, and good-but-not-stellar performance doesn't help it stand out from the crowd.

Excellent convertible design. Decent performance and battery life

Construction quality has dropped from previous Yogas

The Yoga is back. The Lenovo Yoga 2 13 ($999 as tested) sits nicely between the smaller Yoga 2 11 and the premium Yoga 2 Pro with its high-resolution display. The new 13-inch ultrabook-class convertible hybrid laptop gets an updated design, new...

Lenovo Yoga 2 11

The Lenovo Yoga 2 11 is an inexpensive evolution of the convertible hybrid laptop. Its $500 purchase price is a sweet spot for consumers, but there are even less expensive choices from other PC makers.

Light chassis. Good battery life. Comfortable keyboard. Lid folds for Tablet, Stand, and Tent modes

Few I/O ports. Micro-HDMI port requires adapter. Motion control is still gimmicky. Small auxiliary keys and touchpad

The Lenovo Yoga 2 11 ($499.99, as tested) is an evolution of the convertible hybrid laptop, building on the design of the larger Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 2 Pro. Its screen swings around its hinge in four modes, and its offers a comfortable keyboard, as well...

Lenovo Yoga 2 (11-inch) review

Hybrid, convertible and 2-in-1 devices could be the next frontiers for computing, but they've so far struggled with several fundamental issues.

Affordable ; Fast in multi-threaded apps ; Cool and quiet

Cheap construction ; Still heavy and awkward when used as a tablet ; 1366x768 display ; Poor keyboard and touchpad ; Very slow single-core, 3D and hard drive performance

Light, quiet and affordable, the Yoga 2 11-inch has its promise snuffed out by a slow processor and hard drive.

Lenovo Yoga 2 (13-inch) Review

The Lenovo Yoga, a thin, 13-inch convertible with an IPS display, was an early poster child for what touch functionality might bring to the PC. As time passed, and as the Yoga aged, it started to slip. The 1600×900 display went from cutting-edge to old...

Excellent display ; Strong processor performance ; More affordable than competitors

Limited connectivity ; Lackluster keyboard ; Slow mechanical hard drive ; Runs warm, system can be loud ; Feels heavy when used as a tablet

The new Yoga 2 boasts a 1080p touchscreen and 4th-gen Intel processor, but it doesn’t keep pace with the latest from Acer, Dell and HP.

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 2 13 Review

The Lenovo IdeaPad 2 13 combines a flexible flip design with a vibrant full-HD screen, but it doesn't offer the best performance.

Versatile flip design; Sharp, bright display; Strong graphics performance

Relatively dim screen; Below-average performance; Some undersized keys

The Lenovo IdeaPad 2 13 combines a flexible flip design with a vibrant full-HD screen, but it doesn't offer the best performance.

Lenovo Yoga 2 13-inch Review: Still a Leader in Versatility

Since the first gen Yoga was released, several other companies have come out with similar form factors, all trying to emulate the Yoga's versatility. So the competition is certainly heating up. That said, the Yoga 2 still manages to be a leader....

Versatile form factor with support for Tent, Stand, laptop, and Tablet mode, improved higher res display, comes with Lenovo Motion and voice control, top notch AccuType keyboard with backlight, very good audio

Build quality is good but not quite as solid as its predecessor, solid but not excellent system performance, battery life could be better, runs hot, not ideal as a tablet, touchpad still needs improvement

Lenovo Yoga 2 11 review

This is Lenovo's cheapest ever convertible. Let's find out how much bang for your buck you get in our Lenovo Yoga 2 11 review.

Great build quality ; Decent screen ; Ace keyboard

Not for gaming ; Average battery life ; Some pointless modes

If it's a gaming powerhouse you're after, this convertible isn't for you. But as a low-cost laptop-tablet hybrid that's fine for everyday use, it's definitely worth a look.
