Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 review

We love the Yoga 11 for its keyboard, display and long battery life, but it might have more use if it were running full Windows 8.

Comfortable keyboard ; Epic battery life ; Versatile, well-crafted design ; Wide viewing angles

Sluggish performance ; It's a Windows laptop that doesn't run x86 apps

We love the Yoga 11, but we can't shake the feeling it's running the wrong OS or at the very least, that it's ahead of its time. As the little brother to the wonderful Yoga 13, it's every bit as versatile, well-made and comfortable to use. (Seriously....

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 review: a netbook by another name

A few years ago, netbooks were small, light, inexpensive, often underpowered computers — and the word quickly became a pejorative term, to be used only with the greatest of disdain as you throw...

Incredible battery life ; Small, sleek design ; Good keyboard and trackpad

Limited functionality because of Windows RT ; Slow, inconsistent performance ; Poor app ecosystem

Is $599 the right price for an Office machine?

Review: Lenovo’s IdeaPad Yoga 11 is convertible, portable, and…it runs Windows RT

Highly convertible design means lots of viewing options ; Really good full-sized keyboard

Windows RT has limitations ; A little bulky for an 11-inch notebook/tablet

This laptop-tablet hybrid would be a lot more tempting if it ran Windows 8.

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 is a good Windows RT convertible to have around if you want a tablet-like experience, but absolutely need a keyboard.

Traditional clamshell form factor. Range of convertible positions. Feels fine in hand as tablet. Very good battery life. Comfortable keyboard. Full size HDMI

Limited Windows RT app library. Can't install older Windows apps. Can't install third-party browser. Local storage a bit small. Only USB 2.0.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 is a better laptop than tablet

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 is the best Windows RT device next to the Microsoft Surface RT. However, because of its nondetachable keyboard, the device functions as a better laptop than a tablet.

The ; works as a laptop alternative, thanks to its always-attached keyboard and myriad useful ports, and its physical flexibility provides useful ergonomic options. Its battery charges quickly and depletes slowly. Brightness shortcuts on the keyboard...

As a tablet, the device is too bulky and heavy to hold in your hands, and its Web performance is slow. A full Windows 8 version with updated specs will be available soon for only $150 more.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 is a great laptop alternative that's unfortunately too bulky to completely replace your tablet.

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 review

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11's keyboard is permanently attached to the tablet section and when in tablet mode, it's bulky, heavy, and awkward to hold. Thankfully, if you'd rather lay your tablet down flat or simply watch movies on it, the Yoga 11's...

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 Review

With the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11, we've got the smaller cousin of the IdeaPad 13, this 11-inch display-toting machine working with a size that's not just smaller physically. Inside this device we've got the NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor paired with...

You’ll have to think this one through – unlike the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13, you’ve not got a full-powered PC on your hands here. This device is made to be a traveler, and certainly not your one single machine if you’ve got a computer-based job. Should...

Lenovo Yoga Review

Windows 8 is an operating system that's a mix of the old and new: it cobbles together a very forward-facing touchscreen interface with the same old Windows we've loved (in its basic form) since before the internet was a thing. [...]

The Lenovo Yoga is an excellent laptop, a mediocre tablet, and a computer that is thoroughly modern and made for Windows 8. Its form factor and excellent screen make it a competitor at its price range against last generation’s top laptops and...
