Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 Review

The Lenovo Z-series IdeaPad is a budget-friendly multimedia notebook. The Z-series comes in two sizes including a 13.6 and 15.6-inch model, both of which offer unique styling and configurations. We took a look at the 15.6-inch IdeaPad Z560 to see how...

Excellent keyboard and touchpad ; Stylish look and feel ; Very good build quality

So-so battery life ; Low screen contrast

Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 0914-3YU

Bloatware is a scourge that can drive any laptop down, no matter how good its part. I'm of the mind that manufacturers should show consumers where to download applications, but shouldn't force it upon them right after the first start up. A few of the...

Inexpensive. Fast Core i5 processor. Numeric keypad. Doesn't look like a business laptop

Bloatware. Small battery

The Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 0914-3YU will hook you up with fast processing speeds and a vast screen for multitasking, but buyer beware of the bloatware.

Lenovo Ideapad Z560

The speaker system does an exceptionally good job of delivering volume and fidelity. Bass levels were decent, too. The Z560 has an HDMI port and a multimedia card reader, and the DVD burner is as standard as it gets on a laptop. Still, desktop...

Excellent keyboard and navigating experience. ExpressCard slot. Nice speaker system. Affordable. Spacious, 500GB hard drive

Dated look. No other color options. Only 3GB of RAM (every other laptop has 4GB)

The Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 is a good, fundamental laptop underneath its throwback, lackluster design.

Lenovo Z560 Review

The Lenovo Z560 is an new mainstream multimedia laptop aimed at the heart of the laptop market. It promises solid performance at a reasonable price, but there are numerous laptops that compete in this same class. Can the Z560 stand out from the crowd?

Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 review

The Lenovo Z560 (part code M37AFUK) comes with only 2GB of RAM, so SaveOnLaptops.co.uk has created this bundle with 2GB of extra RAM. Even with this upgrade, plus a Core i3 processor, a dedicated graphics chip and a well-built and stylish chassis, the...

This Z560 is a smart laptop, that has a decent selection of features, at a reasonable price.

A well-built laptop with great performance, but unless you need 6GB of memory, it's a little too expensive and unbalanced.

Lenovo has a long-standing pedigree with its ThinkPad range of business laptops, but the more consumer-focused Ideapad range is often overlooked. The Z560 is one of the newest models in the series and features the same solid build quality in a...

Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 review

Both in terms of looks and sheer build quality, the Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 is in a different class to any other budget laptop in our round-up.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 offers a well-balanced set of features, performance and battery life put together with impressive build-quality and superior styling for the price.

Lenovo IdeaPad Z560

Huge 750GB hard drive ; Fantastic battery life ; Good expansion

Mushy, long-throw mouse buttons ; 100Mb Ethernet only ; 2.4GHz 802.11n only

The Z560 is an extremely good mid-weight laptop, even though it cuts corners on both wired and wireless communications. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to those who want a great value, flexible laptop with fantastic build quality.
