Lenovo IdeaPad Z575 review

Lenovo laptops usually cater for business users more than the home, but its IdeaPad range is a great middle ground between the two different markets. The Z575 is an excellent example, having a sleek yet restrained design that won't look out of place in...

A decent entry level laptop, but there's better available at this price

All round good system.

Great to see APU in the mainstrean. It makes me embarassed to have a older system with CPU+GPU...

No trackpoint, screen resolution 1366x768 should be made full HD

Wonderful Laptop Just What I Paid For

For me I left it hooked up to my tv on and running 24/7 and it never hickup or got hot or anything. All it had was a 14 dollar cooler pad from w@lmart (why is that an inappropriate word?) under it and i never had any problems out of it. You might want...

A wonderful laptop. Bought it late 2012 still going strong with everything i can throw at it hooked up to my 42 inch tv via hdmi at 1080p turn shadows off on the games where its a little to slow and boom your back to playing. Who uses shadows anyway...

Waste of Money

If this is how the computers are being built by Lenovo, then I will highly discourage people/friends from purchasing them. A year of use and having it turn into an awkward useless paperweight is not my idea of a good product.

Good price, dedicated gfx card

I purchased this laptop in July of 2012. I saw the reviews and thought this would be a good choice since I really did not want anything too expensive and flashy. I loved the fact that it had its own dedicate gfx for gaming, which I do 3-4 hours per...

I'm disappointed, I have tried everything. I even disabled the integrated and tried to force it to run the dedicated. ----- Other then that, there was some bloat ware. (most of lenovo background PROGRAMS that nearly impossible to stop)

Great speakers, nice build, amazing keyboard

Dedicated GPU almost always doesn't work. No matter the game, (saints row, minecraft) it doesn't run. Giving me a complete awful experience. The only time it will run is in UDK. I bought this laptop for the GPU - which doesn't work. And the CPU isn't...

good pc

Pretty smooth, i bought this just for gaming, runs games pretty well. Warcraft-med settings:30-40FPS, SWTOR-med settings:50-60 fps, guild wars 2 med settings:25-30fps. Nice keyboard, handles the bashing quite well. Overall this was a great buy, no...

Slow hard drive, bloatware, headphone/mic inputs on the right side to close to a USB port

Nice Laptop

My old desktop broke and I needed a new computer for school. I decided to just go with a laptop for convenience and am very satisfied with what I got.

Fast, reliable, and cheap

lenovo Z575 (129922U)

Bought this laptop for about 580$ with a 3 yr warranty. If your looking for an inexpensive laptop with good gaming potential then this laptop is for you.

6 GB of memory (the one i bought came with) ; Looks nice ; Large screen ; Fast ; Quad core ; Good graphic card (Runs minecraft, tf2, L4d2, Civ 5, BF3(decent) well ; not heavy ; full keyboard ; I bought this for college and it has done me well. It has...

Advertised a 500 GB hard drive only came with 420 usable space ; Advertised a 3hr-4hr battery life, maybe on standby, but usable its about an 1hr 30 ; webcam not good quality ; When first received it would randomly freeze but problem was fixed ; color...

A travesty of Customer Service

I've been on hold with this company for over an hour now in an attempt to return this unit. Don't waste your time.

Apparently great features for the cost

The most terrible customer service experience I have ever had. I purchased a refurb from the Lenovo outlet. I suggest nobody else ever do this ever. The first unit had intense graphical and heat issues and I sent it in, on my own dime, for repair....

Nice light gaming machine

Wish its at least 1600 x 900 resolution but its a sub $400 laptop so you get what you paid for. -I personally don't like the number pad but others might find it useful

System is nice and responsive ; Not a lot of bloatware ; Nice graphics core ; Can run Diablo 3 with low settings with no issues ; Can run most games in low setting with no issues ; Screen is better than I thought ; The construction is decent though the...

Only ship with one ddr3 1333 memory. To get the optimum performance, you need dual memory channel. Its a simple as adding another chip. I upgraded it to dual channel 8gb ddr3 1600 memory
