The Lenovo T460 is a rugged offering under the Thinkpad range which does provide a solid build quality along with decent performance. However, it is not the best machine for your office unless ruggedness is a priority.

I'm fine with the design, I really bought this computer for it's power, keyboard and battery life and it's excellent in those points.

The screen is slightly touching the keyboard, which I have to fix soon before it scratches it. The laptop collects a lot of fingerprints.

Usual Thinkpad values. Installed Linux (Debian 8) with few problems. Just needed a newer kernel (4.9) for wifi.

I have just bought this and not put it into full use yet as I am still syncing it with my old computer, so I cannot really give accurate answers. However, I like the robustness of the machine and I hope it will give me many years of untroubled use.
