Lenovo ThinkPad T510 review

You know what you're getting when you get a ThinkPad. You're getting a black laptop that's sturdy and strong, with a very distinctive design. It'll have plenty of power, ready to keep you up and running wherever you might be. One of the latest members...

A powerful laptop with plenty of bells and whistle, a good keyboard and excellent battery life make it ideal for the road warrior

The 15.6-inch screen could benefit from a few more pixels, and the Caps Lock key could be smaller (or the keyboard less crowded)

An ideal machine for anyone who needs their notebook to work, at a desk or on the road; robust and surprisingly good looking

Lenovo ThinkPad T510 business notebook

Since Lenovo bought IBM's PC and notebook business, not much of the ThinkPad's iconic design has changed, and this is a good thing. The Lenovo ThinkPa...

Solid build quality, excellent screen, good performance, excellent touchpad, keyboard light, fingerprint reader can be used to switch on and log-in in with one swipe of your finger, long battery life using 9-cell battery

Bottom-right corner of the keyboard was loose, feels heavy, doesn't ship with data encryption and password management utilities

It may look drab, but the Lenovo ThinkPad T510 business notebook is well-featured, solidly built, fast, and has a long battery life. It does feel a little too heavy for lap use and its keyboard isn't completely solid, but its pros heavily outweigh...

Lenovo Thinkpad T510 review

Just opening the lid of the T510 sets the triumphant tone for everything that follows: the familiar ThinkPad-hooded lid is rock-solid with almost no bend in it at all.

All-in-all, there is some close competition between business-style laptops, but the Lenovo has the edge due to its sheer quality. This is a laptop you could take with you on your travels or use comfortably at a desk, and Lenovo will take care of all...

Review: Lenovo Thinkpad T510

Sturdy build and plenty of options add to the T510's business appeal.

It doesn’t quite have the serious portability of something like the Vostro 130 or Portege R700, but for all-round hard-core business appeal, the ThinkPad T510 just can't be matched.
