Ultraportable workhorse lacks an integrated optical drive, but its design and performance are top-notch.

Lenovo ThinkPad X60s

A lot of laptops takes brightview or truelife as their standard while barely progress in LCD is seen with thinkpad. After years of development in outward design, I don't see much improvement in its quality comparing its price.

easy to carry, solid and with 8 cell battery, you don't need to worry about any problem of watching DVD on vacations

a little bid overheat on the right handy part. LCD is a drawback for thinkpad

I sent my x60s to the service center 4 times because it kept freezing, and it has been 3 weeks of waiting for it and sending it back. They assured me that the problem was fixed, but now it freezes within a minute of being on. I find it appalling that...

I have tried disabling the built in wireless (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc) hardware with no benefit to reducing the heat being generated in the right palm rest area where the IBM ThinkPad Logo is. I have even tried putting a cloth pad but even that heats up...

I sent it back after two days. I was afraid to leave it turned on in fear it would burn the house down.My right hand still hurts - I think it's cooked.Another fine product from China.
