Lenovo ThinkPad X60s and X60 Review (pics, specs)

The ThinkPad X60s is the latest incarnation of the popular ultraportable ThinkPad X-series from Lenovo. The X60s is the evolution of the former ThinkPad X41 notebook, while the ThinkPad X60 (no s) is the update to the ThinkPad X32. This review will...

Hands down the best performing ultraportable on the market with the new Intel Core Duo processor Best battery life this author has ever seen from an ultraportable notebook, 6 hours is very possible with an 8-cell battery Great feeling keyboard Very...

A little bland looking, somewhat less appealing than the X41 looks wise What's up with the LED light overlay falling off? Hopefully this was an extremely unlucky incident due to this being an early production model, but I never knew it was simply glued...

The X60s is a leap forward in performance over the X41 and offers more in terms of ports and features. Some will find the built-in EVDO antenna an irresistible feature, some will love the extra USB port and FireWire. Personally, the off the scale...

Lenovo ThinkPad X60s

While roaming Manhattan, I consistently received download speeds of over 750 Kbps. I was able to access my e-mail, surf the Web, and even download video clips at nonfrustrating rates. Adding to my enjoyment was Lenovo's wireless client, Access...

More than 7 hours of battery life. Integrated EV-DO. Best keyboard. Excellent management utilities. 3 USB ports

No built-in optical drive. Hard-to-use docking station. Runs a little warm

For those who live out of a suitcase and fly frequently, this ultraportable provides integrated EV-DO and plenty of battery life.

Lenovo ThinkPad X60s review

The Lenovo ThinkPad X60s' tiny size makes it arguably even more desirable than the MacBook, at least if you squint.

IBM's chums deliver a truly teeny laptop with most of the features you need. Tiny and feather-light, with good battery life, although it's pricey and has no optical drive.

Lenovo - ThinkPad X60s

Once the mainstay of many a corporate employee, IBM's ThinkPad range (now under the Lenovo banner) would, you might assume, have been put out to grass by now, what with its austere matt black finish and ...

The ThinkPad may have been overshadowed by flashier looking notebooks but it's back (if it ever went away, of course) with a bang. The combination of great performance, portability and stunning battery life make the ThinkPad X60s a winner, although you...

Lenovo ThinkPad X60s

A lot of laptops takes brightview or truelife as their standard while barely progress in LCD is seen with thinkpad. After years of development in outward design, I don't see much improvement in its quality comparing its price.

easy to carry, solid and with 8 cell battery, you don't need to worry about any problem of watching DVD on vacations

a little bid overheat on the right handy part. LCD is a drawback for thinkpad
