this laptop is garbage boycott lenovo

ive always been a fan of IBM laptops so i made the big mistake of buying a lenovo , this laptop is junk , the sound was garbage right out the box , then it started crashing anytime any type of streaming video was played , how about this everytime you power it up you have to unplug all usb,s or it wont come out of bios screen at startup (real annoying if you tether a cellular device for internet , then the mouse pad buttons broke , this all happened in the first two months from buying it new , so i called lenovo after nothing but red tape and runaround from call centers in india , they supposedly made a escalated claim and gave me a claim number and said they would contact me in 4-7 days to discuss a solution guess what that was over a month ago no one ever called , lenovo is a shotty product and they dont give a rats a$$ about anything once they have your money

Review Lenovo IdeaPad Z565-4311 Notebook

No experimenting. It's best to head straight for the Z series. Th ...

Good feedback from the keys and touchpad buttons; High-end aluminium finish; Good application performance

Short battery life; Poor screen contrast; Irritating noise from the fan; Not suitable for gaming

Lenovo's description of the laptop seemed like a joke to us: “Dolby stereo surround sound and two 5.1cm (2”) quality speakers”, and “gorgeous LED 16:9 displays”. The statements may be factually accurate but they create a false impression

Horrible Product ?565

I purchased a lenovo z565 a few months ago. The computer suddenly stopped working. The computer has never been on the internet, and has never been dropped or damaged in any way. Since I am past the Best Buy return period, I called Lenovo. I was told...

Sleek Look/Cost Effective

Doesn't work...ongoing issue manufaturer is aware of but will not assist with

Quality, Performance and Value = Purchase Trifecta

I was buying a new laptop under duress -- the one I had suddenly quit, and since it was my only computer, I needed a replacement, even if I sent mine in for repair. I had no desire to drop a lot of money on a new laptop, so when I went in search of...

It has a sleek design ; Pretty quick even with multiple programs and double-digit browser tabs open ; Lightweight ; Keys are responsive but quiet ; Spill-proof keyboard design

One more USB port would have been nice ; Speakers could be upgraded a bit ; Can be hard to tell if the power is on when you hit the on button

Budget midsize, great processor, superb graphics

The case is exceedingly well made, and the keyboard surround feels like some kind of brushed aluminum housing. Processing tasks are SWIFT. Video plays with authority and without any annoying "hitches." The screen is clear and bright. I like the quick...

This terrific performer brings a high-quality computing experience to the laptop format without costing $900 or more, due to the budget dual-core processor (an AMD Turion II) and the somewhat unusual combination of a dedicated Radeon 5470 video card

Power usage is outclassed by peers owing to the less efficient AMD processor and dedicated video card, so you get at best 2 hours and 40 minutes off charger, where many other machines get 3+ hours. You're never straying too far from that plug

Great Laptop for home use

I've had this laptop for about 10 months. It has been rock solid. Great video. I use the HDMI port frequently to connect to my flat screen TV and it works like a charm. I am also a network administrator so I use it to do work from home on a regular basis.

Almost great... Except for cheap parts and poor support.

I bought this laptop and initially loved it. It feels very well built, the keyboard is excellent, the touchpad is nice, and it looks great. Also, it has very good performance for the price. But then only a few months after I bought it, the problems...
