Review Lenovo IdeaPad Z565-4311 Notebook

No experimenting. It's best to head straight for the Z series. This is Lenovo's advice, but we can't follow it without some reservations. Weak battery life and poor screen contrast are combined with a high-quality aluminium finish and an excellent...

Good feedback from the keys and touchpad buttons, High-end aluminium finish, Good application performance, The robust and high-quality aluminium palm rest, along with the accurate keyboard and touchpad keys

Short battery life, Poor screen contrast, Irritating noise from the fan, Not suitable for gaming

I have owned many laptops, this is my first "off brand" pc, and I am very surprised to say it is my best yet. I have owned a Sony, a Dell, and an HP. I would recommend this laptop to anyone new to pc's or a vet.

Everything works great, smooth operation, typical win 7 meaning normal bugs

finger prints. price was 550 for me so a little high to me

very dissappointed!

one of the ideapads have been at the repair shop once due to graphics card problems, and the other had been in the repair shop twice (hard drive failure, touchpad failure, and usb port failure). Do yourself a favor pay a little more and get a decent...

cheap? two of these is not is expensive as a vaio or apple

Lenovo ruined the reputation of IBM. While trying to produce cheap computers, lenovo must have cut a lot of corners. everything on this computer feels flimsy

I love it alot but..

I would love for someone to hook me up with a free repair of a discount on a more durable thinkpad.

everything is as advertised, and better if you use linux like I did ; amazing gaming performance for the price

screen bezel cracked due to manufacturing defect and lenovo said I need to pay for accidental damage protection to have it covered be warranty. I think that It is unacceptable. If a product fails to live up to its name, it needs to be fixed at no charge

OK Deal

I don't think I'd be happy at retail, but for 499 its pretty good

Price, worth it at 499. Does everything I need includin old games like utk4. Doesn't seem to be any color shifting as I change angle of the screen

Bloatware, The left touch pad button requires a firm touch to work. Either one wouldn't have knocked an egg but at 650 retail, the touchpad should at least be flawless

Really fast notebook. Just love it. The Canon printer is excellant also. All in all it is a terrific purchase. Only gave 4 stars because I am so use to Windows XP and there is definitely a learning curve to the Windows 7. Otherwise it is a very great...
