Logisys Dual Fan Cooling pad

Picked it up on sale for 19.99 here. I love the all metal design and it does a decent job of cooling things off while i game but the fans are pretty weak.

All metal design for better cooling/heat transfer

Fans are pretty weak

Great cooler with bonus points.

Huge fans that cover your entire laptop surface. Cool aluminum surface that doesn't distract the eye. Built in 3-port USB hub. On and off button

Could be cheaper? That's not quite a legitimate complaint as everything could be cheaper. I think I picked the cooler up at $19.99 last year, it's $34.99 now. Newegg will throw you a deal eventually

Stays cool

Perfect for home.

This thing was cold to the touch right out of the box ; It has a power button and the extra USB ports will work even when it is off ; I've noticed a huge difference over my Belkin cooling pad. Even after raising most settings to maximum on games like...

It stands a bit high, which could be a portability issue if you think you will worry about looking dorky with it in public ; It has what you might consider sharp corners, because of the aluminum and the way it is cut on the sides. Also a portability...

6 months later

Still great, still working. Average temperature drop of 10-20 degrees Celsius

Not a larger temperature drop, no LED option, no USB 3.0

satisfied overall

If you got an extra 15 bucks, drop it on a pad with with better airflow to the fans, if your on a budget grab this one.

Inexpensive, Extra USB ports, Sits at a comfortable angle. Compared to cooling pads I was checking out at best buy priced the same and higher this one def takes the cake. An all plastic cooling pad with 1 small fan was 4 dollars more at best buy...

The fans could use a little more umph, to really get efficient cooling it needs to be on a flat surface. Sitting on a bed or couch it doesnt really seem to get the best air circulation. However its still better than nothing, as well as better IMO than...

Great Cooling Pad

Good for leaving on the desk, not really made for laps. You can feel air coming out all around from under the laptop. Keeps my XPS M1530 from over heating very well. Very quiet too.

Cools very well, looks great, built in usb hub, aluminum

Excellent for the price

This is a great accessory for the price. While not the best, it's an effective aluminum cooler and the 3 USB port hub to the right side put you +2 ahead on the port count, which can be very useful for laptops.

Keeps laptop over 5c cooler during idle times, ~10c cooler under stress, even though this Macbook Pro does not have bottom ventilation ; Just as importantly, it keeps the aluminum casing of the computer MUCH cooler. Even after reapplying thermal paste,...

not for Laps. It's for a desk. I cannot imagine it's comfortable on a lap due to the size and shape ; a bit too high and angle for my liking, but many would consider this a pro. I personally like my keyboard level, and not inclined as such

Not That Great

I bought this cooling pad based on the reviews. However, it doesn't move very much air, which is why it is so quiet. Does very little to cool the laptop temperature down. I have had it less than a month, but so far it seems sturdy. I gave it two eggs...

Sturdy construction ; Large enough for my 17" laptop ; Quiet ; Has 3 USB ports on the side, and another for the cord ; Has an on/off switch

Doesn't cool the laptop very well

great fan

Works as a regular fan for yourself?

Amazing airflow. Keeps my phenom II quad DV6 at- 50° C (in comparison to ~75° C on my old belkin.) Feels like quality compared to my last cooling pad too. (Likely mainly due to the aluminum)

Larger than my last case, the fan is for a 17" laptop rather than a 15.6". Heavier than my last cooling pad too
