Great Computer

This has been a fantastic computer overall. I've had it for several years now. I have a dual monitor system set up and it handles really well. Never crashed once. I used it mainly for internet and word processing. I have used Adobe Photoshop for minor...

Keyboard letters wore out really quickly and I could not adjust the volume on the keyboard itself. There is an area where you are suppose to be able to adjust by touch. I have never been able to do anything but turn it up maybe a notch with a good...

Great so far

If this system lasts I think it is a great value in an inexpensive laptop.

Fast enough for "normal" computing, 3gig of ram helps. Blazing fast on the internet. This was my first Vista machine and I was a little apprehensive but I was impressed with the overall performance of this machine. 3 USB ports. The paint job is nice...

Vista Windows Account Control is irritating... I shut it off. Speakers sound like tiny tin cans

Lasted a whole year!

THANKS GATEWAY!

My co-worker owned one of these days and got 376 days of use out of it! What a bargain at only $1.60 per day

It only lasted 21 days beyond the warranty period

Good buy

If you're on a budget, I would definitely recommend this laptop.

Really good buy, the battery life is between 2.5-3.5 hours when in power saving mode. You definitely get what you pay for. My last laptop from gateway was somewhat flimsy but this one is very well built and not a strain to carry

Not a con but it's not a gaming laptop so don't buy it expecting for something that runs WoW or whatever you play at 60fps. Oh, and the gloss on the laptop case gets fingerprints on it very easily

Great buy!

My wife figured out how to work the volume-slider touch control...put your finger on it and roll your finger right or left slowly. Trying to drag the volume didn't work at all, but moving slowly on it works great.

I got it about a month ago. I really think it was a great buy. I thought that was on sale due to the ugly color. I was pleased to find out that the case is a nice, dark, ocean blue without the funny corner "stripe" (which I now see is supposed to be a...

Great laptop, great price.

I bought this laptop about 4 months ago for my girlfriend. I have never been a fan of Gateway; but I have to say she couldn't be happier. It is used mostly for browsing the web, playing itunes, puzzle games like Bejeweled, and the occasional DVD in the...

This laptop is very fast, stylish, and light weight. The Blue is very nice looking, It is a great all around home laptop. The built in Webcam and mic works well with Skype. It has Centrino branding so it has all Intel components and is pretty good on...

The Intel GMA X3100 (AKA 965GM) graphics are not very fast for 3D applications, but for basic games like Bejewled and The Sims it runs fine

Blazing

This computer is really good for the money. I bought it for my wife. She's in school and is thrilled w/ it. I've set it up w/ Office, Antivirus, Spybot, etc and I've used it for a few hours. I'm Director of Technology for an internet marketing company...

The only con I have is that the screen seems to have a very faint buzz when it's on a bright page. You can not hear it when the tv is on, only when it's completely silent. My wife didn't notice it yet and hopefully it stays that way... ha. Oh and it...
