Macbook Air 11-inch

The new 11-inch Macbook Air is one of Apple's most interesting launches to date. Apple has so far famously refused to enter the netbook game, choosing instead to give users the MacBook Air, a thin and light system that still had a regular notebook's...

For now, the 11-inch Air occupies a space that makes it way more than a netbook, but at a way higher price. If you’re looking for something ultraportable just for Web surfing, you’d have to really consider whether the Air is worth the money. On the...

Apple 11.6-inch MacBook Air/1.4GHz (128 GB)

You can forgive Steve Jobs for a bit of hyperbole when he's on stage introducing new products to an audience of thousands of people following along via a live video stream and countless liveblogs. “It's like nothing we've ever created before,” Jobs...

My original review of the MacBook Air ended with a simple question: “How much are you willing to compromise?” While it’s still true that a small, light laptop will require some degree of compromise on both speed and price, over time Apple has made...

Size Does Matter With the 11-inch MacBook Air

It's obscenely thin, tremendously attractive and doggedly expensive. Don't call it an Apple netbook. Call it MacBook Air.

So slender, so sexy. Ridiculously fast app launch times. Excellent battery life. Comfortable keyboard and trackpad.TIRED Size does matter — 11 inches is too small, no matter how nice the screen is. Sluggish with some media-heavy tasks

Exceeded my expectations!

Let me fist start this review off by saying, I am not an apple fanboy by any means. I own a couple ipods and that's about it. This is actually my first mac computer I have ever owned. Always been biased towards a windows based pc, but I must admit I...

Brilliant

10 years ago, I bought a 12" powerbook. It was an amazing laptop. Small, powerful, the perfect travel companion. I used it as a road warrior for years. The full sized screen and reasonable battery life were ideal. I later replaced it with a 13" black...

Beyond my expectations

Two years ago I purchased a Dell M1330 hoping for a lightweight laptop to carry back and forth to school with me to use on our network. I'm a new teacher, so I thought I wanted something that would allow me to move around, carry files back and forth,...

Extra RAM a good addition

This is the base 11.6 late-2010 MacBook Air, with 4GB of RAM rather than 2GB of RAM. There are a lot of reviews on the MacBook Air and 11.6 in general, and you either like this form factors with the lower powered processor or you don't. I personally...

Lite powerhouse

I have a core i7 main 15" MBP and I wanted a travel laptop. I figured for big trips I would need the big boy to take the load. I was wrong. I bought the pimped out 11" model and it has handled admirably. I would like a 256 model as well but I think I...
