Review Maingear Nomad 15 Notebook

Extreme system performance. Equipped with an IVB CPU, Nvidia GTX

Extremely high system performance; Powerful CPU and GPU with RAID 0 mSATA SSD; Good build quality and aesthetics; Good battery life; High quality matte display; Relatively cool surface temperatures; Good Virtu MVP benefits (when it works)

Very high noise; Larger and heavier than many 15.6-inch Clevo barebones; Cannot maintain full Turbo Boost for extended periods; Reduced performance on battery power; Small touchpad, clumsy touch controls

Low surface temperatures and extremely strong performance in synthetic benchmarks show lots of real-world potential and reliability. Virtu MVP, gives noticeable boosts in performance where applicable.
