Review Medion Erazer X6811 Notebook

Gaming to the Max! Medion has put a well-equipped gaming notebook at a fair price on the market: the Erazer X6811. The Intel Core i7 740QM and Nvidia GeForce GTX 460M look very promising on paper, but can this 15" bad boy bring home the bacon?

Excellent Price-to-Performance Ratio, Radiates Moderate Heat, Plenty of Ports, Matte Case Surface, Excellent Performance, Great Sound Quality, An incredible level of performance for a price of 1200 Euro

Loud under Heavy Use, Modest Screen Contrast and Black Level, Narrow Range of Viewing Angles, Less system noise under heavy use and a higher-quality display

Let's start with the obvious – this is a spec-heavy gaming laptop that packs the sort of hardware that you just wouldn't expect from a sub-£1,000, 15.6-inch laptop. The Medion Erazer X6811 is a high-performance gaming laptop that won't leave you...

Super high-tech and great performance at a low price

Feels a tad cheap, battery life isn't great

The Medion Erazer X6811 is a high-performance gaming laptop that won't leave you disappointed when it comes to execution. The i5 CPU and the GTX460M smash through graphics-heavy games and high-definition video with ease, and the Dolby Home Theatre v3...

Medion Erazer X6811 review

Cut-price German brand Medion always manages to offer well-specified PCs at bargain prices, and the Medion Erazer X6811 laptop certainly continues that tradition.

It’s a hefty slab and at nearly a grand, not an impulse buy. Nevertheless, if you can live with the chunky weight and plastic styling and the limited visibility screen, the Medion Erazer is a punchy portable with some handy gaming customisations.

Medion Erazer X6811 review

This gaming laptop has a good specification and phenomenally powerful graphics processor, but skimps on screen resolution.

Medion Erazer X6811 review

Medion deliver a super-powered, feature-packed gaming laptop for a bargain price

It might not have the brutish appeal of the Alienware M15x, but Medion should be congratulated for producing a fantastically powerful laptop for sensible money. If you’re after serious gaming power in a package you can stow away in a cupboard, look no...
