Motion Computing CL900

Motion Computing has been a part of the tablet market since well before the form factor went mainstream. Its latest device is made for the businesses space, a category in need of a sensibly priced workplace-oriented tablet. The Motion Computing CL900...

Corning Gorilla Glass prevents scratches and cracks. Decent camera quality. Features like USB 2.0, mini-HDMI, and an SD card reader are handy

Stubborn power button and lock switch. Stylus and dock not included with all models

The Motion Computing CL900 tablet offers 7 hours of battery life, handy features, and agile processing, and it's business-friendly to boot. Unfortunately, its big price tag doesn't include the accessories you'll need to make the most of this Windows...

Motion Computing CL900 Review: A Tablet PC for the Enterprise

The Motion Computing CL900 is a 10.1-inch Windows 7 tablet that delivers a rugged chassis, all-day battery life, and both pen and touch input. All of this functionality comes at a price, however, putting this business-class tablet PC beyond the reach...

Also unfortunate is the fact that Motion backs the CL900 tablet with only a one-year parts-and-labor warranty. Many business systems ship with three years of coverage

Motion CL900 Tablet PC review

Rugged, well made and the dock is neat, but it needs more than Atom-level performance to persuade us that Windows 7 and tablets can mix

The ruggedness goes some way to justifying a price of more than a grand, but the Motion CL900 remains very much a niche, expensive product. It’s meant to be a consumer-style tablet for specialist roles, but the lack of power means even those...

Motion CL900 Tablet PC

Intel's "Oak Trail" Atom processor makes its debut in a ruggedised yet stylish tablet from Motion Computing

a good windows alternative to iPad but only 2GB RAM

esthetically close to an iPad (for a windows based slate). processor and RAM limiting

design is as good as I've seen for a Windows based slate. Screen is crisp, clear and accurate

Only Atom processor available and max 2GB RAM really limits performance

Well built, good battery, slow performance, no VGA out

Useful in specialized application, lack of VGA output option is perhaps the most serious drawback.

Tough, strong glass, dust-proof, 7-8 hours battery life, nice weight, easy to hold, pen and touch, actual handwriting is possible

Sluggish, pen an d touch input often with a lag, cannot easily hook up to LCD projectors - has only a mini-HDMI connector which does not carry analogue video signal

Motion CL900 Atom Z670 1.5GHz/1GB/30GB SSD/BT/WLNA/WC/10.1" HD Touch/W7HP

Performed perfectly! Just as advertised. I have not attempted to drop it on concrete to test the ruggedness, I will just take that for granted. Found the Fujitsu Stylus I ordered as backup work perfectly.

size & weight, bright screen, easy to use, ruggedly built
