Slow 5400 RPM HDD ; Cannot sustain maximum Turbo Boost under stress ; Must break warranty seal to access RAM, HDD, GPU, CPU or other internal components

Very good value for gamers who don't intend to use the GT70 for work applications. Otherwise, an SSD upgrade (or at least a faster 7200 RPM HDD) is highly recommended

Multiple Failures

 

Fast at everything it does at all times, never had a slowdown of any kind

Killer Lan causes a bunch of games to have very high latency (including Garys Mod, LoL, WoW) Within the first year my MB went bad and had to RMA it, not a big deal, but then less than six months later after I recieve it back my computer shuts down...

This is a great desktop replacement if you want portability but the feel of a desktop PC. Cooling is amazing and the keyboard is even more amazing in person. Sound quality is superb. The laptop feels very sturdy. Plenty of cooling vents on the bottom...

Did not get an MSI Sticker with my laptop. I also think the warranty sticker on the bottom may have been broken prior to me receiving it. Other then that little thing I have no other concerns.

Great gaming laptop

 

The Dragon Edition is a few seconds faster boot and gets a few frames per second more in games but it is also over $800.00 more for the red case, 780M, and a third mSATA.

Integrated graphics until you need the 770M for longer battery life Blu ray burner, dual mSATA RAID for a 9 sec boot to win 8.1. 1TB HD for more than enough storage on a laptop. Great no glare display.

It wasn't free. This beast is heavy.

Solid Dev Machine

 

This is a great developer machine. I can have 5-6 VM's running processes at the same time I have multiple development windows open and it doesn't even touch it.

Fast, Great Graphics and Raid 0 w/SSD's make VM's run as well as most consumer PCs. Well built with lots of features that most will not appreciate.

Desktop replacement - so not for everyone or portable folks
