Lean GT gamer. The GE range aims at tighter budgets and bids midrange hardware. The matte FHD screen is appealing, but SteelSeries has not done itself a favor with the keyboard. What is possible with the combination of a GT 650M GPU and Intel's i5 Ivy...

Stable load performance ; Good gaming performance ; High contrast FHD ; Matte TFT screen ; Four speakers ; Easy access hardware (upgrade, cleaning)

Clattery keyboard ; Yielding chassis ; No eSATA ; Stiff touchpad keys ; High weight

We can live with the case's mediocre stability, but the clattery keyboard is definitely a no-go

Great Computer

Great computer I love it

Fan controls are really nice, Processor can handle any thing i throw at it, Video card can play every game i put on the system. Also sound is great from this unit. Steel Series keyboard is fluid and easy to use. All in all a great buy

Lack of volume controls (just a personal preference). Not much to complain about

Fast laptop

Got this for my wife. She's had nothing but praise for how fast it is. Her only complaint is it not having a biometric login like her last computer did. That would have been a good addition.

Fast ; Good screen size ; Light and decent battery life for size ; Textured touchpad

Biggest piece of advice that I have would be for you to try to get your hands on one first, to see how well it handles. You may love it, you may hate it.

Games run nicely, I love the graphics card. Very fast, plenty of RAM, etc, etc. If it wasn't for the cons this machine would be a solid 5 / 5

As others have mentioned, the keyboard and case can be a bit wonky. Another problem that I think might be exclusive to me is that the touchpad is beyond terrible. While using it to move the mouse across the screen, it will at random interpret my single...

Great specs for price. Basically no bloatware. Actually looks like a normal sized laptop instead of a portable desktop

A little more flex in the keyboard than I expected, not a deal breaker though. Speakers aren't anything to write home about

Runs games smoothly on the highest settings

There's no scroll wheel on the touchpad like many laptops have, kinda gets annoying while browsing the internet. Not a big deal though
