Easy to Upgrade Components

Max out the RAM, especially get the M.2 drive for it internally. It has DDR3, SATA, M.2, the CD could be replaced easily for a blue ray. Only concern is how much that fan runs like crazy. I'll be replacing that fan sooner than later I'm sure.

I called support after seeing the "do not remove" warranty sticker. They said go ahead and remove it without voiding the warranty. I purchased an M.2 drive and 16 gigabytes of RAM for it. It holds two drives at once. Take care when opening the case as...

Fans a little loud. This model has one fan instead of two, but it's nice it blows out the back instead of the side. It gets hot, but it's cooler than my Sony which is a generation older.

Defective

It's a beautiful laptop despite the pictures, and when it was on sale it was an amazing deal especially for whats in it If you wanted a laptop like this from anyone else with the same specs your talking probably around $1200 mostly because of all the...

When I first received mine it was running at 90-100% disk usage constantly for over 6 hours which was also making my computer run slow, so slow in fact that it ran slower then my 5 year old super cheap display modeled laptop not to mention my old...

Laptop meets most common needs - not a power user

Bright screen, decent keyboard, fast startup*, Pixels all good (so far), adequate video for most uses, sufficient memory for most uses (at intro level), enough ports to add external components most common to a laptop. In a non-gaming use, it kept...

Backpack is not padded propery to seriously use as a carrying case, will buy something different for protection. Game is yet to come. Keep the pack and game and give me a good mouse. Easy access through case bottom for upgrade not provided, you're...

Paid 800 after taxes and shipping, a solid deal for whats in it

for the money im happy with the purchase, but you definitely get what you pay for - this "Feels" like a $800ish laptop, maybe $900. the build quality and the corners cut are apparent but again, if your just looking for where it counts (cpu, gpu,...

-5th gen quad-core, runs cool. -acceptable graphics card, newer gen 950 that runs cooler then the 800's series - plays fallout 4 on ultra with great frame rates, plays similar games at the max settings with decent fps (usually around 30-40, with the...

horrible sound. its 4 tiny little speakers that are below the latop - so the sound is constantly muddled and blocked. not a good place for them. the sound software nahimic is fun to mess around with but ultimately if your a true audiophile you'll end...

Awesome Laptop

I recommend installing a SSD and migrating the OS from HDD to that...it makes this laptop a pure rocket and allows the i7 to be properly utilized.

The specs that your getting for the money is absolutely insane...i got this thing while it was on the shell shocker deal and i don't regret buying it at all.

Sound is alright but its not some epic next level stuff...i mean its a laptop after all i don't expect it to have killer sound but its nothing i can say stands out on this. Also the backpack that came with it looks cheap and would never want to wear....

Excellent Laptop

The Machine is great for $1K. It has a good, fast high end processor, a pretty decent graphics card, and massive 1TB storage. The dependability is limited to one M.2 SSD card, which I added, and the machine is a rocket now! Screen is bright and crisp,...

Fast Processor, Decent Graphics, Good Value

Poor Audio, No expandibility outside of being able to add a M.2 SSD
