MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 3K

The MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 3K delivers a midrange gaming laptop that brings plenty of bang for the buck, and several small touches that will delight gamers.

Customizable backlighting. Gaming keyboard with anti-ghosting. Slim and light design with durable aluminum construction. Quad-core Intel Core i7 processor and latest Nvidia graphics card. Generous two-year warranty

Short battery life. Runs hot while gaming

Just a couple of years ago, thin and light laptops with real gaming chops were just a pipe dream, but the latest slim MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 3K ($2,199 as tested) proves that things have changed in a big way. This svelte 15-inch laptop is big enough to...

MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 3K Review

MSI has several lines of gaming notebooks catering to different types of users. In the past few months we've looked at MSI's top-of-the-line GT70, equipped with NVIDIA's GTX 880M GPU. While that's a great notebook for those who want performance first,...

After testing and using the MSI GS60 for over a month, there's plenty to like with the overall package. It's attractive and looks far better than the other MSI product lines (in my opinion at least), and it's not nearly as bulky to pack around....

MSI GS60 Ghost review: a gaming rig in Ultrabook's clothing

It's the natural order of things: NVIDIA releases a new line of mobile GPUs and suddenly the market is flooded with new gaming laptops. It is spring, aft

Simple, elegant design ; Powerful ; Great trackpad for productivity

Disappointing audio ; Average battery life ; Trackpad is lousy for gaming

The GS60 Ghost is a slim and powerful option for gamers who want a lightweight rig. If you're going to spend that kind of money, though, wait for the unreleased GS60 Ghost Pro, which will bring a sharper display and better graphics.

MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 3K review – Nvidia GTX 970M & 870M versions

Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the laptop, especially the 970M version. The GS60 Pro offers pretty much the best that can be offered by an Ultraportable to date. And they do it without skimping on the screen and keyboard quality. I've only spent a...

Thin and light brushed aluminum design, Beautiful 3K display, Solid gaming performance, Full-bodied sound, Good keyboard and touch pad

Runs hot, Screen lacks touch sensitivity, Lackluster Webcam

But minor complaints aside, the Ghost Pro is an excellent choice for your next gaming laptop. It's trim, lightweight, and packed to the gills with cutting-edge components. A gamer could ask for nothing more.

MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 3K review

One of the first 3K gaming laptops impresses

Excellent screen ; Solid 3K performance ; Stylish design ; Fantastic keyboard

Runs extremely hot ; Lackluster battery life

Whether you settle for the FHD model or spring for 3K gaming, the MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 3K is one 15-inch gaming laptop to beat. Though, while an undoubtedly impressive feat, beyond-HD gaming is neither something I'd call a must-have feature nor will it...

A gaming unit that has a surprisingly light weight and slim profile

It may be a gaming laptop, but MSI's GS60 Ghost has a lot going for it even if you're not all that keen on games. The keyboard and screen are both excellent, and the configuration is strong, despite the overall weight of 1.96kg and the thin chassis....

Excellent keyboard, Excellent, non-glossy screen, Thin and light for a gaming beast

Some driver issues for graphics and Wi-Fi, Fan noise, Touchpad could be a bit better
