MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 3K review

One of the first 3K gaming laptops impresses

Excellent screen ; Solid 3K performance ; Stylish design ; Fantastic keyboard

Runs extremely hot ; Lackluster battery life

Whether you settle for the FHD model or spring for 3K gaming, the MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 3K is one 15-inch gaming laptop to beat. Though, while an undoubtedly impressive feat, beyond-HD gaming is neither something I'd call a must-have feature nor will it...

MSI GS60 2PE Ghost Pro

A gaming laptop with huge power that's slimmer and lighter than many Ultrabooks

Enough power for every game ; Fast, quad-core processor ; Slick SSD-based RAID array ; Slimmer and lighter than the competition ; Excellent 1080p screen

Poor thermal performance ; Loud internal fans ; Disappointing battery life ; Lack of real internal access

There’s reasonable punch to bass drums, with only the lowest, deepest notes missing – the Gigabyte, with its pair of sub-woofers, is the only gaming notebook we’ve seen recently that’s really handled bass well. The MSI instead has a well-balanced set...

MSI GS60 2PE Ghost Pro 15.6 inch Laptop Review

Today we have a very special review for our readers, a look at the world's slimmest and lightest 15.6 inch Gaming Notebook. The MSI GS60 2PE Ghost Pro is currently available in 3 different flavours - ...

Super thin and very portable ; weighs less than 2kg ; backlit Steelseries keyboard ; great screen ; decent onboard sound ; very powerful CPU and GPU ; RAID 0 Solid State Drive configuration – hitting 1000MB/s ; very competitively priced

Gets hot ; a little loud under load ; battery runs out of juice quickly if you want to game on the move

Which SSD for your next PC Build?

I'm thoroughly pleased with my first purchase with bitcoin.

fantastic display. tiny text excites me ; extensive selection of beautiful colors makes for endless possibilities for the backlit keys ; feels good to type on ; steel construction ; (nearly) flawless gaming performance

my greasy skin leaves dark marks :( i wipe them off the moment they surface

Overall this was a great buy. The laptop is a very well built, powerful and cheap gaming laptop for what you are getting and compared to the other models of the gs60. I would recommend this to anyone who would like the sleekness and portability while...

Build quality is amazing-all aluminum body and well build key board as well as track pad (despite reading the critical comments on the track pad) ; Back lights are impressive and white light is an option if you like to keep it simple ; Form factor is...

Music function on keyboard lighting seems a little delayed which isnt a huge deal ; Bloatware ; Touchpad takes time to get used to. The multitouch is great but the over-all feel with the right and left mouse buttons built into the touch pad makes it...

Quite pleased

My first shipment was essentially DOA either the AC adapter or something along the powerline was bad as it wasn't charging. Newegg was great with getting me a replacement right away, I ran 8.1 for awhile just to test the waters before I switched it...

Thin ; Light ; Powerful ; Beautiful ; This laptop has handled everything I have thrown at it and I am quite happy with it

The lid is feels flimsy when you open and close it. I have had to change my habit of opening it from the corner to opening it from the middle ; Bloatware. I believe there were only 3 or 4 things that I uninstalled right off the bat with this computer...

An Awesome Laptop

I'd give this laptop 4 1/2 eggs but the pros heavily outweigh the cons and this laptop deserves the highest marks. This is one of the best laptops on the market right now and if you want one that can handle some high end graphic applications and but...

This laptop is one of the best crafted pieces of hardware I've seen ; The best thing about this laptop is fact of how slim it is and how much power they packed into such a small chasis. It's about just as wide as a ethernet cable socket plus an extra...

This is pretty much common sesne, but heat is the biggest issue with this laptop. It's going to be a con when you pack high performance parts into a small laptop. I feel MSI did the best they could with attempting to cool this beast but the temps are...

FN keys.. ugh

This power adapter is like a brick.

Fast. Light. Beautiful 3k display. Good value

Build (flimsy top half), battery life, heat, fan noise, sound (awful), trackpad, Keyboard (cheap feel, no indentations, backlight emanates blindingly from sides not so much from top) an the FN key "issue ; After reading about all the ultimate keyboard...

Great No Frills PSU

Bottom line If you can live with major issues like no Bluetooth, poorly functioning WIFI and other driver issues, web cam, The Killer Gaming Network (junkware) and more in the hopes these issues will be resolved.

Slim Profile ; Light Weight ; Lots of Power for the Money

BLUETOOTH ; is Currently Broken on every GS60 and GS70 ; (It works briefly and then falls asleep, to wake it you have to go to PC Devices then Bluetooth and once you open the page it wakes up for another 5-20 minutes.) ; WIFI ; Is currently Broken. You...
