Piece of junk.

Might be good for Linux Mint, but after taking the time to disassemble this piece of junk to upgrade it, I was not amused that it was not compatible with memory that the manufacturer claims it is compatible with.

Turns on.

Horrible design. MSI decided to solder 1 GB of memory to the motherboard. This version of the ATOM CPU can only address 2 GB of RAM, so you really, really need to upgrade to that 2 GB to be able to do ANYTHING. The problem is that unless the 1 GB of...

MSI L1350D-1672US

Nice shipping box and glossy display

The notebook will not see the wireless radio that is installed. Went to the MSI website to download "Liveupdate5", ran it and then it tells me "will only work on MSI products ; Spent about 4hrs so far and I'm afraid it needs to go back

Brilliant

In the BIOS, the bus speed is listed as 667Mhz. Coupled with the fact that the sticker on the netbook says "1 GB DDRIII RAM", I'm confident that the RAM is DDR3-1333. The major difference between the N450 and N455 is that the N455 has DDR3 support.

Small, light, fantastically compatible with Meego ; I installed a Intel X-25V SSD straight away ; Astoundingly nimble, very quick boot times

The trackpad isn't the best piece of hardware, though not unusable

Great Value

Have had this for several months now and has worked flawlessly so far. Upgraded memory with a Kingston 1gb KVR1066D3S7/1G DDR3 memory stick. W7 memory assessment went from 4.5 to 4.7.

Happy Choice

This is the first time I ever bought a computer to go with some spare parts that I had. I had an extra DDR3 1GB RAM module from an upgrade to an Asus netbook that I purchased recently for my daughter. This MSi netbook seemed a good choice when I...

Can't think of any.

Oops

felt like an idiot but would have felt worse if i didn't correct my mistake, i apologize...i tried 2 different sticks of DDR3 and could not understand why it would not work and then i ran the scan and the truth was revealed.

the last info i gave was wrong, this netbook has DDR2 ram just like the description says and maxes out at 2GB

when you go to crucial and put in the model number it says DDR3 ram, maxes out at 3GB , so don't make the same mistake i did....Run the scan instead of the model number

DDR3 Ram, 1 GB on-board plus another slot for up to 2GB more, Turbo Drive Engine, 160 GB Hard Drive, Windows 7 Starter. Nice solid heavy feel. Driver and utilities disc, power adapter in the box, the manual is on the disc, also compact and very...

A VERY GOOD DEAL

After a tid bit of research via a phone call to Crucial and actually having the RAM in hand as of today. This computer states it will hold 3GB of RAM. Ok one GB is permanently installed so you only need to buy a 2GB stick to MAX out not to mention if...

Check the specs for yourself. This is listed on the MSi website as one of the "current" top 4 netbooks being offered as of 4/22/2011. After a quick peep of the MSI site to see that this retailing for 367.00 without shipping or tax I promptly...
