Acer Aspire V3-571G-9435 Review

The Acer Aspire V3-571G offers some impressive components for an affordable mid-sized notebook, but the sloppy craftsmanship and poor display ultimately dilutes what at first appears to be an impressive spec sheet.

Relatively high end processor ; Impressive graphics card ; Reasonable Price

Poor build quality ; Unresponsive keyboard ; Grainy display ; Terrible touchpad

Honestly I’d have a hard time recommending the Aspire V3-571 G. Sure the notebook offers some great highlights including its impressive processor and graphics card, but the cost for those specs proves to be just too high. Even if consumers can overlook...

Acer V3-571G-9435 review: Acer V3-571G-9435

The Acer Aspire V3-571G-9435 has a fast quad-core Core i7 processor and powerful Nvidia graphics, matching what you'd see in a high-end 15-inch laptop for a fraction of the cost.

Mediocre screen quality, a plastic, budget-feeling body, and poor touch-pad responsiveness keep this from being a premium product.

Budget laptop shoppers looking for pure performance for $800 should flock to the Acer Aspire V3-571G-9435, but those looking for a comfortable, easily portable laptop should look elsewhere.

Acer Aspire V3

Back in March at CeBIT, Acer unveiled a slew of new laptops, among which the Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 Ultrabook was easily the most celebrated. But while slim designs and instant-on technology are shoo-ins for media attention, slightly thicker machines...

Great graphics performance ; Comfortable keyboard ; Good value for price

Middling battery life ; Heavier than other 15-inchers

The Acer Aspire V3 offers NVIDIA graphics, great performance and a first-class keyboard. At $850, it's a natural pick for the back-to-school season.

Acer Aspire V3

The specs on the Acer Aspire V3 are hard to beat. The high-resolution display, medium-level graphics card and fast processor all work together for anyone looking to upgrade their current PC. Not having a way to remove the battery can become annoying if...

This laptop has long battery life

The inability to remove the battery is frustrating

The Acer Aspire V3 is perfect for anyone looking to do the basics. If you are looking for something more graphics ready, you may want to look at higher-ranked laptops.

Acer Aspire V3-571 review

The Scrabble-tile keyboard is similarly triumphant, and the properly spaced keys make this, unusally for a laptop, a joy to type on. A few of the keys (particularly the cursor buttons) are a little small and difficult to hit properly. Thankfully the...

The Acer Aspire V3-571 is a great example of just how much can be achieved within the constraints of a severely limited budget. Gamers will need to set their sights a little higher, and it isn’t particularly convincing in sound reproduction. Overall...

Acer Aspire V3-571 review

The Acer Aspire V3-571 is a powerful laptop with a 2.5GHz Intel Core i5-2450M processor, 6GB of RAM and a 15.6in screen with a native resolution of 1,366x768. It doesn't have a dedicated graphics processor, but its on-chip Intel HD Graphics 3000 GPU...
