Origin EON18

For an extreme visit into ultracustomizable large-scale gaming laptops, the Origin EON18 offers just about everything, provided you can live with an extremely large and unwieldy box.

Boutique-style customer service; wide variety of upgrade options and customization; option for dual graphics cards

Ergonomically uncomfortable; generic-looking chassis; upper tiers can get very pricey

Origin EON18 Review

Yes, the Origin EON18 costs and weighs as much as a good used car, but it performs more like a Ferrari--if Ferraris came with howitzers. It blows by almost every other gaming notebook--and for $5,952, it should. But even in a market segment where cost...

Owing to its spacious chassis and three fans blowing air out from the underside of the system, the EON18 never got overly warm. After playing a Hulu video at full screen for 15 minutes, the temperature of the touchpad was 84 degrees Fahrenheit, the...

Origin EON18 – Gaming beast

This is an excellent gaming laptop and it gives you lots of customization options. Buy it if you have lots of money to burn.

Can Get Same Laptop Cheaper Somewhere Else

Avoid buying this from Origin, it's insanely overpriced for being a reseller of a clevo laptop. Much like the Eon15, you can basically get the same package deal from a different competitor while saving a bunch of money. Don't Believe Me?

Based off barebones design (For customization) ; Can be quad core CPU ; 1.5GB VRAM by Default

Excessively Priced (Let's be honest, gaming laptops price WAY high, but you're better off getting this SAME model from a competing reseller like Pro-Star or AVADirect because quite frankly, the other websites can give you the exact same hardware)

Stop whining about the "looks" of this great machine"

I have no idea why this review wasted so much...

Powerful, sleek and elegant. Almost makes you forget you are on a Windows machine. I spent several days using one at the G4 booth at E3 and I fell in love with it. Yeah, it's a boss with videogames but it does everything else a laptop does too

OK, it's pricey but the thing is built like a tank and the customer support is without peer. I didn't love the track pad but, honestly, what gamer uses a track pad
