Panasonic Toughbook 19

This 10-inch rugged tablet offers field-workers epic battery life and a bright display, although the keyboard might be too cramped for some users.

As a fully rugged 10-inch notebook, the Panasonic Toughbook 19 occupies a class all its own. If you want a military-grade notebook that will last the whole day and won't break your back—and you have the room in your budget—the Toughbook 19 is an...

This durable notebook begs for abuse.

Excellent battery endurance • Rugged design • Small footprint

Uneven screen brightness • Tiny keyboard • Tablet functionality costs more

I work on these

I work on these for the United States Air Force. These things are awesome! The hard drives are encased in a padded, heated cage for protection. They're built like tanks. We've seen people accidentally drop them and run them over and the laptops still...

Screen resolution isn't as high. Price is very high (but you get what you pay for). If you don't like the feel of typing on a waterproof keyboard or mousing on a rugged mouse pad, you won't like them

If you really want it

I don't own one myself because the lack the graphics power I need but they are very well built. and I know people who do use them. The reviewer must have done something else with his or maybe it was used and abused before?

Good screen even in sunlight, Survives drops (within reason-no skydives duh!)

Very pricy by any means, Heavy ; Remember you are trading a lot of power for durability as slower chips produce less heat etc

Are you kidding me

Well, I didn't order it from newegg, but it was the same thing.

Uhh lets see, it makes a great coaster

It sucks more than anyone can possibly imagine. The specs on every single component in this notebook is less powerful than my dell that I bought in 2001. Secondly seeing as it is called the tough book, and should in theory be more durable than your...

Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 review

Panasonic Toughbook's have long been the poster child for rugged laptops and the CF-19 is another impressive model.

Excellent build quality ; Decent performance ; Connectivity

Poor usability ; Very pricey

Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 rugged laptop

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 can be dropped, kicked, splashed with water and exposed to dust, and it'll love it!

Water resistant ; 180cm drop rating ; Dustproof

Small ; Uncomfortable to use ; Expensive

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 feels every bit as tough as it. It's rugged features allow it to withstand the elements and clumsiness. It's well suited for field assignments and factory floors, and basically useful to any professional that has to work...

Panasonic Toughbook CF-19MK3 notebook

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-19MK3 is a fully ruggedised tablet-convertible laptop with a 10.4in screen. It's aimed at professionals who work in factori...

Small, built like a tank, tablet-convertible; useful for covert ops, recon missions

Tough features come at a high cost, embedded 3G modem is not standard, doesn't use a solid-state drive

It's a hefty investment, but if you work in a field that's tough on regular laptops — and you've already gone through thousands of dollars worth of dead laptops as a result — the Panasonic Toughbook CF-19MK3 might be a worthwhile proposition.
