Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 rugged laptop

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 can be dropped, kicked, splashed with water and exposed to dust, and it'll love it!

Water resistant ; 180cm drop rating ; Dustproof

Small ; Uncomfortable to use ; Expensive

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 feels every bit as tough as it. It's rugged features allow it to withstand the elements and clumsiness. It's well suited for field assignments and factory floors, and basically useful to any professional that has to work...

Panasonic Toughbook CF-19MK3 notebook

Panasonic's latest Toughbook is as big as a netbook and as strong as an ox

Small, built like a tank, tablet-convertible; useful for covert ops, recon missions

Tough features come at a high cost, embedded 3G modem is not standard, doesn't use a solid-state drive

It's a hefty investment, but if you work in a field that's tough on regular laptops — and you've already gone through thousands of dollars worth of dead laptops as a result — the Panasonic Toughbook CF-19MK3 might be a worthwhile proposition.

Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 (2012)

A powerful, fully rugged convertible laptop/tablet that can survive almost anything.

Tough as nails ; Incredibly versatile ; Excellent connectivity ; Powerful ‘laptop’ specs ; Superb battery life

Low screen res and terrible viewing angles ; Weighty and chunky ; Expensive

Throughout it all the CF-19 just kept on working – no drying time, no down-time, no interruption in the workflow. It’s not like we needed confirmation that this rugged laptop is as tough as its name implies, but it’s good to see that it’s still as...

Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 review

The covers protect the inside of the laptop from dust and water ingress and the screen, touchpad and keyboard are also all water resistant. You can't completely submerge the Toughbook CF-19 and expect it to re-surface unaffected by water, but you can...

Panasonic Toughbook CF-19

Those old boots? This is tougher than them. Convertible into tablet form. Takes a licking without any of that unnecessary ticking business. Even tougher than its predecessors. It's tough. You may have gathered that by now.

Did you look at the RRP?. Keyboard and trackpad are tough to use for extended periods Battery life could be better.

Like its predecessor, the updated CF-19 is an extremely rugged notebook that is purpose-built for a tiny niche of the computing marketplace.
