Samsung Series 3 NP300U1A-A01US (11.6-inch, Intel Core i3)

 

Few laptops garnered as much virtual ink at CES 2011 as the Samsung Series 9, a slim, slick 13-inch laptop positioned as a Windows alternative to the MacBook Air . Later came an 11-inch version, but both were priced well over $1,000, putting them out...

Samsung's Series 3 is a more economical take on the company's cool Series 9 laptops, and one of the few 11-inch laptops with an Intel Core i3 CPU.

At $699, it's priced out of the league of other 11-inch ultraportables.

Samsung's sharp designs translate well to this more affordable new line, although the Series 3 is still at the high end of the ultraportable price range.

I've had Acers, Asus, Lenovo...but this Samsung is by far the best I've had. Yes, it's a little more expensive for a netbook but i think it's worth it! what I like the most about is the design...it's super light, sleek, and especially ... Expand...

Overall it's a good computer for any student because you know they won't be able to be playing games and it's fairly fast for standard tasks

-runs "regular" programs fairly fast

Samsung 11.6 series 3 laptop

 

Overall it's quite a decent laptop, since i do need it for school and not to play games. But i just wish it was a little faster so i can play a least some of my favorite flash games which it keep screen lag for a 2-d medium quality ... Expand full review

it's super light weight, about 2.2 lb ; small and yet the keyboard size is full ; the speed is moderate for a lightweight notebook ; comes with full Microsoft and window 7 home premium edition

I will start with the number 1 major issue. It's the battery it is NOT 6 cell, it is 4 cell. Which means that it must be plugged into a wall every 4 hours. Also it over heats at the bottom so having it on one's lap is not ideal because it is very uncomfor
