Review Samsung 540U3C Ultrabook

That special touch. The Samsung Series 5 540U3C is the successor

Good mobility; Lightweight and compact dimensions; Bright touchscreen; Operating elements; Maintenance-friendly

Display hinges; Contrast and black values

The Samsung 540U3C has its own predecessor, the Samsung 530U3C, to compete with. But since the current price of the latter lies only about 70 Euros (~$91) beneath the new version, the pros of this review device prevail, for example the SSD and the...

Samsung Series 5 UltraTouch Review (13.3″)

Updated Mar. 8, 2013 @ 11:03 a.m. ET: We noticed an number of our benchmark tests were a little funny, so we ran them again and found there was a big enough difference to change our opinion of the UltraTouch […]

The price of the Series 5 UltraTouch might entice those of you who are curious to try an ultrabook equipped with a touchscreen as its $849.99 price tag is certainly lower than competing touchscreen ultrabooks, which typically range closer to $1,000....

Review Samsung Series 5 530U3C-A01DE Ultrabook

Ultrabook update. We reviewed the Samsung Series 5 530U3B-A01DE in mid-March 2012. The ultrabook has now been revised to feature an Intel Ivy Bridge dual-core processor. Virtually everything else, including the manufacturer's suggested retail price...

Elegant design, USB 3.0 and HDMI, Matte screen, Good brightness & illumination, Easy maintenance, Application performance, Battery life, The increased application and graphics performance, the matte screen and the ultrabook’s seemingly timeless design

VGA adapter no longer included, Screen’s limited opening angle, Contrast and high black value, No Turbo during load, No full-blown solid state drive, Increased temperature rates, A better contrast and Turbo Boost of the installed ULV CPU or a more...

Samsung Series 5 UltraTouch Review

With the Samsung Series 5 UltraTouch you've got one of the companies most solid deliveries of an Ultrabook-level computer upgraded with Windows 8 and a full 10-point touch display. With this notebook you're going to be working with 3rd Gen Intel Core...

With the Samsung Series 5 UltraTouch you’ve got an Ultrabook that’s ready to be your best buddy in college, your friendly office companion, or your coffee shop cohort. While the Samsung notebook line doesn’t hold quite the “cool” factor their...

Samsung Series 5 UltraTouch review:

Windows 8 touch-screen laptops to date have largely fallen into two categories -- really high-end systems, from $1,200 to $1,600 or more, with slim, sexy designs; or else entry-level models that cram in a touch screen, but at the expense of design,...

With a slim, sturdy design and a powerful mainstream CPU, the touch-enabled Samsung Series 5 UltraTouch is a great sub-$900 13-inch Windows 8 machine.

Good thing it has a touch screen, because the touch pad is a bit jumpy. Performance is slower than that of similar Core i5 laptops.

Samsung's midprice Series 5 UltraTouch looks and feels like a more expensive machine, but keeps it simple by skipping the complex hybrid mechanics of so many new Windows 8 systems.

Samsung Series 5 UltraTouch NP540U3C-A01UB

The Samsung Series 5 UltraTouch NP540U3C-A01UB gives you a 13-inch ultrabook, married to a touch screen display and Microsoft's touch-friendly Windows 8 operating system. While it may not flip and fold like the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 , the Samsung...

Touch screen and Windows 8. Large 500GB hard drive with 24GB flash cache. Sturdy hinge

VGA output requires adapter dongle. No keyboard backlight. Flat sound from speakers

The Samsung Series 5 UltraTouch NP540U3C-A01UB is a solid touch-enabled ultrabook with decent performance and battery life.

Samsung Series 5 NP540U3C Ultrabook

When in the market for a laptop, there are a greater number of factors to shop for than when browsing for a desktop. Granted, you can upgrade a laptop – but only to a certain extent. Unlike a desktop, which is entirely upgradable, it is critical you...

Samsung Series 5 13.3" Touch Screen Intel Core i5/8GB/128GB SSD Ultrabook Review (NP540U3C-A01CA)

Apparently I've stated that there are quite a few faults with the Ultrabook, but at the same time, it didn't have anything catastrophically wrong that compromised the experience, other than the poor performing SanDisk U100 Solid State Drive it came...
