Samsung Series 7 Gamer 700G7A

Gaming laptops are the domain of a rather limited crowd. The smaller boutiques, though many in number, all rely on a limited amount of designs from common manufacturers like Clevo. Only the major OEMs have the resources necessary to build something...

Pleasing keyboard and touchpad ; The best laptop display we’ve ever tested ; Quick, well-rounded performance ; Affordable (for a gaming laptop)

Gaudy exterior ; Average build quality ; Subpar connectivity ; Poor battery life

This isn’t just a gaming machine; it’s also a portable workstation, a multi-media powerhouse, and a capable desktop replacement. The Samsung Series 7 Gamer is the only computer you’d ever need. Portability excluded, of course.

Samsung Series 7 (NP700G7C-S01US)

Samsung's Series 7 Gamer takes a new third-gen Ivy Bridge processor, updated NVIDIA graphics and a beautiful 17.3-inch full HD display and makes one powerful gaming laptop. While not only for gaming, this laptop is a definite desktop replacement...

Pretty Good, Like the look

When are these computer companies going to realise that they can gain more in customer loyalty by not putting all that Bloatware into these boxes. Seriously, they can't get that much $ from, say, Norton and the like. It is so much trouble to try an...

Seems pretty quick, Bought for a work backup, but just installed Phoenix, a RC simulator and the graphics are stunning - especially when Xfr to a TV. Think I will install an SSD for the Primary HDD. Samsung should really do this, for less than a C...

Windows 8, of course. If the computer is not a touch screen, why bother? Thanks to the advice of a long winded reviewer on a large Webseller, I installed Start 8, and it kept me from punching the screen out in the first week. Oh, and the lack of a SSD

Love it

Everything worked out of the box. Does a wonderful job playing BluRay discs. I don't do fps games so can't comment there. Everquest and WoW looks gorgeous on it and play fantastic on the highest settings. It is a beast of a laptop and that is what I...

For me, none because I knew what to expect in this large heavy beast of a laptop. I wanted a portable desktop and that is what I got

terrible newegg service

Don't buy this laptop or give Newegg your business.

None. laptop arrived with a broken key. Newegg agreed to rma it and had me ship it back to themfor a replacement. I waited 2 weeks to get the same broken laptop back from them. When I called they then said they would not rma it and to call Samsung. I...

I am not sure why companies feel it is ok to take money and not stand behind their product but this absolutely made me sick. I will never buy another product from Newegg again

Great laptop junk AC adapter

Great laptop, but for the money it should be. The reason for the 4 out of 5 is the AC adapter and lack of support for it through Samsung.

The laptop has some serious power. I'm able to run everything on the highest of settings with no problems. It remains cool(ish) and quiet even after hours of gameplay. Had no problems eliminating the pre-installed junk, not that it came with much

The AC adapter is junk. On my second replacement. If you want a replacement out of warranty, you have to order it on-line as most places won't carry a 200 watt replacement. Samsung's customer service is absolutely horrible. I would rank them the lowest...

I had previous owned an Asus G74 and was ready to get teh G75 when I saw this. After owning both I am glad I didnt get the G75. The screen is amazing and while giving up the SSD is nice the Series 7 boots fairly quickly and is a better experience to...

Amazing Display ; Runs Quiet ; Mode switch know is nice ; Excellent sound ; Video card

None that are unique to this laptop, standard middle ware you can remove if desired
