Samsung 900X3B-A01 (Series 9) Laptop Review

A Timeless Design. We didn't think Samsung could do it, but they

Extremely light and thin, yet stable; High-class unibody duralumin build quality; Very low fan noise; Fast mSATA SSD performance; Very bright matte PLS display with extra-wide viewing angles; Excellent outdoor usability; Easy access to motherboard...

Limited expandability; Average battery life compared to competition; No docking port or 3G/WWAN; Potentially high load temperatures; Tight port placement; Difficult-to-reach card reader; No included mini-HDMI or mini-VGA adapters; Soon to be outdated...

The 900X3B is even slimmer than its older brother, yet feels just as durable and with a slight CPU upgrade. The impressive display is leaps and bounds ahead of the first generation Series 9.

Samsung Series 9 NP900X3B Review: An Ultrabook With A Great Display

The Series 9 NP900X3B is Samsung's top of the range offering in the 13-inch ultrabook category. How does this premium, thin-and-light laptop stack up against other ultrabooks?

Excellent PLS (Samsung?s equivalent of IPS) display ; Amazingly thin and light ; Robust and stylish ; Quiet

Moderate battery capacity ; Only two USB ports and special adapters ; Limited potential for hardware upgrades ; Expensive

The best Windows Ultrabook there is, and an Ultimate award winner

Graphics performance is provided by the processor, which saves battery but doesn't provide much 3D power. Whether you watch 720p video on the laptop or 1080p content on an external display, it will have no trouble decoding it, but you'll struggle to...

Awesome Machine

Has no problems running Linux Mint 14. I can get about 5-6 hours of battery life with the lowest screen brightness and moderate web browsing. I'm also not experiencing any of the wifi issues that others are complaining about. They only gripe I have is...

Sexy Styling, WIFI terrible Overall moderate

OK I got sucked in by the looks. LOVE the styling, and the backlit keyboard. Also very rugged. CONS only TWO USB ports and an almost non functional WIFI. This laptop DOES have its limitations, and if you dont need more than 2 USB's and WIFI then it is...

Stable Product

Passed tactical vibration test for 9 Hours on bumpy Amtrak ride without failing. The only con was the screen lid keeps vibrating and needs adjusting. Also it is missing the Intel anti-theft subsystems.

Phenomenal product

Yeah, it's pricey, but for me (and for many others, I suspect) it really is that good and well worth it. I don't think there's much for me to say here to change your mind; you're either someone who's going to love it, and you probably already know...
