Samsung Series 9 NP900X3C Review

This 13.3" Ultrabook is all business with its gorgeous anti-glare PLS display, 256GB SSD, Intel Core i7 processor and backlit keyboard.

Fantastic high-res display ; Excellent performance ; Good backlit keyboard ; 7.5 hours of battery life

Limited amount of ports ; Loud touchpad clicks ; Pricey

The Samsung Series 9 is the most well-rounded Ultrabook we’ve reviewed to date. It gets almost everything right – it even has decent speakers. The 1600×900 PLS display has fantastic picture quality with unlimited viewing angles and an anti-glare...

Samsung Series 9 (2012) - The Next Wave

Samsung's Series 9 notebooks, have been competent but expensive counters to Apple's Macbook Air. But with the new wave of Ivy Bridge Ultrabooks in the market, will this year's Series 9 take the crown? We find out how this strong contender fares.

Good Build Quality; Extremely thin and light form factor; Bright and sharp matte screen; Large Clickpad

Shallow keyboard; Only 128GB SSD for storage; Only 2 USB ports (1 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB 3.0)

Samsung Series 9 Notebook (NP900X3C)

The past few months has seen the rise of the tablet PC, which has some pundits intimating that it might be at the expense of the laptop/netbook/notebook genre of PC. Then Samsung comes along and releases its latest Series 9 notebook, gviing you second...

Super portable, excellent speed, reasonable battery life

Speakers are a let down, slightly expensive

Awesome Ultrabook

This computer is one of the most fun that I have had to play with yet! I was super stoked when I saw how little bloatware came with the computer. Normally I would have to do a complete wipe of the drive, but this time I just installed 2 programs and...

This is a great computer in almost every area. The idea of owning a computer like this is that you want something ultra-portable (like a netbook) but powerful like your average desktop or above standard laptop. It has all of that. The undervolted i5...

This can hardly even be considered a con, but you will not be able to really use this as a gaming computer for newer games. It's more of a point I felt like sharing, that if you want a computer for gaming, this really isn't it. I mean, it can handle...
