Samsung Vitality SCH-r720 ( Cricket Wireless)

The Samsung Vitality is an Android 2.3 Gingerbread device with a good size touch screen and Cricket's signature Muve Music music-access plan.

Low audio and speakerphone volume make it harder to talk. The Muve Music microSD card leaves little space for photos and video. Battery life is also rather poor.

The Samsung Vitality is a competitive midrange Android smartphone that complements Muve Music's potential.

Samsung Admire SCH-r720 (red, MetroPCS)

The Samsung Admire marks another step in Android's continued march onto phones from prepaid carriers. Made for MetroPCS, the Admire isn't long on features, but it offers more than enough to keep you occupied for both a little play and some work. The...

The Samsung Admire has a simple, straightforward design with enough features to keep you busy and entertained. We appreciate the support for the Gingerbread OS and the access to MetroPCS' new Rhapsody Unlimited Music service

The Samsung Admire had variable call quality with low volume and occasional audio cutouts. We had problems with the speakerphone in particular

The Samsung Admire offers the accessible design and functional feature set that you'd expect from a starter Android phone, but call quality wasn't up to our standards.

Samsung R720 review

There's very little to fault with the Samsung R720. Attractive and packing decent components, it offers excellent value for a desktop-replacement laptop. Its 3D graphics performance is its only real weak spot, but it still offers enough oomph to keep...

Looks great for such a large laptop ; Excellent keyboard

3D graphics performance isn't particularly brilliant

Conclusion The Samsung R720 is a great-looking desktop-replacement laptop with a good all-round specification. It's not quite in the same league as the similar Toshiba Satellite L550-113, but it's about £100 cheaper and the only real difference is its...

Samsung R720

You might not be able to tell from the picture, but Samsung's R720 is one seriously big laptop. If you're looking for something portable, there are many better choices available.

Samsung's latest desktop replacement has a huge, high-resolution 17.3in display - and a tiny, tiny price tag

Samsung R720 17.3in notebook

Great value 17in laptop, that's not averse to a bit of light gaming. Pity there's no 802.11n Wi-Fi though.

The 17.3in screen looks good and, despite Samsung's decision to go with a Pentium Dual Core processor, the R720 returned some decent benchmark scores. Perhaps most surprising was the 3D performance afforded by the Radeon HD 4330 graphics card. Yet...

Samsung - R720

With a price tag of £599, Samsung's R720 sits in the budget desktop replacement sector. Going by looks alone, though, it certainly doesn't come across as being a budget laptop. Open up the lid and you're ...

At £599, the Samsung R720 packs in a lot. Sure, the Pentium Dual Core processor might put some people off, but the fact is it really doesn't impact performance too much. And although the Radeon HD 4330 graphics card won't be up to high-resolution,...

"Great phone."

I like the phone. It is laggy at times, and usually doesnt load youtube videos more than halfway, but this is probably based on the Metro network in my area. Doesnt load any faster with wifi on which is a huge downfall, and wifi on takes a toll on...

Battery life

Can be laggy at times.

"Good smartphone that won't break the bank! Great value!"

This is my first smartphone, overall I like it. Although there is the downside of low internal memory, for $49 I really can't complain. This is an excellent deal. If you're looking for an inexpensive yet decent smart phone from Metro PCS, I'd recommend...

-Decent Processor

-Although it's a good camera, it has no flash
