Samsung RV711

Although good, it's not great! Whilst the size of the screen is nice it can impair the size of graphics on web pages. My wife has the exact same design laptop but this has the 15.9" screen. Many graphics are larger as they are not lost in the larger resolution of the 17" screen model. In addition, much useless Samsung software is loaded but this can easily be removed using a program called 'ccleaner'. Would I recommend this product? Yes! It is a nice laptop to the average home user but is useless when it comes to the manufacturers graphics card should you want to use it at the higher end of the computer world. In closing, dont let this put you off... it is a very good laptop but a review is supposed to be a realistic, before I get slated by other reviewers. But as someone who works with computers, the Samsung RV711 is one of the most reliable on the market.

This compuuter seems quite satisfactory for the routine applications I use (blogging etc). However, there are only three USB ports, not the five mentioned in the technical description on the Amazon website.

Bought for my Daughter at high school. Perfect for this as is more than capable for all the stuff she will need to do, for a few years anyway. Bigger screen makes loads of difference. So far, very pleased with it.
